He has his index finger wrapped around the grip. That's not how it's done. You keep your finger pointed straight forward out of the trigger guard. So no this isn't basic trigger safety. It's actually less safe to do it the way Rick is.

Problem with Baldwin is someone put an actual gun in there with a bullet. The props are weighted like a real gun but are incapable of shooting. Possibly click though. I had a prop gun 😂.
