Personally I love polyglutamic acid! I use the inkey list polyglutamic acid serum and I like the light silky texture along with how it hydrated my combo skin.
Hey hun... I think it depends which works best for your individual skin.. I agree with you that you get more hydration from the polyglutamic which is nice but I know some people find it a little thick when its applied.. Thanks for watching and sharing xx
Thanks for another great review Rob! I've been curious about PGA because I heard it was gentler than HA & good for people with sensitive skin, but after watching your video, I'm team HA... it's in a few of my products like the Inkey list Lactic Acid.
I think there is some science to say it can be a little more gentle but its not concrete and i think so long as you dont have an issue with hyaluronic people should stick with that... I haven't tried the Inkey List lactic acid, is it good? I love lactic acid so i need to try it really xx
@@MadAboutSkin Hi Rob, I've only been using the lactic acid for a few days, but so far so good. My sensitive skin is tolerating it nicely. I was told to use it 3 days on then 3 off since I'm new to exfoliation. Will be trying to incorporate the Inkey List retinol next... it's been years since I tried a Retin-A, so hoping it goes well.
Since tons of products have HA, I don’t use a stand-alone HA product. I use my serums (w/HA as part of the formula) and then use PGA as a moisturizer! And OMG, the skin looks so plumped and dewy and healthy. I love that finish ❤️ I have combination skin and I don’t feel TIL PGA heavy at all, but I HAVE to wait some minutes for drying and penetration before applying sunscreen. I really love PGA, I think there’s an overuse of HA and Niacinamide in the recent skincare products and we end with and “overdose” of those actives. I’m at the point of getting back to a really minimalistic skincare routine 🤷🏼♀️
Hi, Pauline. I've never heard of it either! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'll definitely give the one from The Inkey List a try since they're one of my favorite brands for skincare. Take care!
You have solved my dilema! I will go for the inkey list hyaluronic acid and see if it can replace my beloved la roche posay b5 +ha. Thanks for the great overview and recomandation!
Your energy about skin care makes me want to learn more😅Thank you for breaking this down, and here I am thinking all hyaluronic acid products are pretty much created equal. Subscribed for sure!
Hi there! Thank you for supporting my video. Passing by to support yours 😁. Loved this newest video. Very informative. I like that you know your stuff and are able to relay it to your audience in a way that is understandable. Awesome channel!
im still building my skincare routine and digging old vids in your channel :D my skin is dehydrated in the morning and it just dawned on me recently that maybe im not using the right moisturizer (thanks for replying to my question in your korean moisturizer vid - i cant find the product here unfortunately) im sorry i have another question again.... i use paula's choice Enriched Calming Toner for dry-very dry skin and then the ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA - this combo is not enough for my skin even when i use a lot of the toner before and after the moisturizer... and so im searching for what to use as a serum in between (or replace the ordinary moisturizer - i impulsively checked out my cart with the vanicream moisturizer the other day and before i can even try it im thinking i made the wrong decision ouch so i have to just deal with that first) i need your expert recommendation pretty please. should i add a hydrating serum in between like a polyglutamic acid (It's skin POWER 10 LI effector) or The Ordinary Amino Acids + B5 or vichy mineral 89? or something else that's super hydrating? thank you!!!!
I've missed so many videos... Damn you, life! The Inkey List is available in Sephora Australia now, unsurprisingly their hyaluronic acid toner is sold out, but I've waitlisted myself 😁 Thanks for the recommendation!
I’ve been using Hylouronic acid for so long and I have no seen anything crazy hydrating, my skin feels still SO dehydrated and I’ve tried multiple different hylouronic products :( I’m switching to the other acid and see what happens wish me luck!
Me too! I have one patch of skin on my chin that gets red, dry and flaky after starting aha's.. i use the glow tonic serum once a week. What do you recommend to quench my skins thirst in that specific area.. cicaplast every night?
Also, Milani came out with a cannabis sativa oil, mask for bed and lip balm.. i would love for you to check it out and let us know what your thoughts are!!!
I lose interest in something when it becomes "trendy" as well. For me I think it's the desire to feel like I'm unique and dont just jump on the band wagon, if that makes any sense. Lol. I use a hylauronic acid serum that is so lightweight and beautiful and sinks right in. It's from Lue by Jean Seo. I'll try to get my hands on another and send it in the goodie box I'm sending you. I've been saving loads of stuff and so excited for you to receive it!! What do you think of Guerlain Abeille Royale's products for skincare? They're extremely expensive which is absolutely ridiculous and totally unnecessary but I'm interested to hear what you think. Take care and stay safe. Cheers!
Wow I think polyglutmatic acid is a great combination with hyaluronic acid and I have very oily skin I don't think is heavy at all 🤔 is a game changer
Ty for this. I just started with PGA as I live in the desert and found it works in low humidity where HA doesn't. HA actually makes me drier.
I've become OBSESSED with hyaluronic acid lately- it has seriously changed my skin!

Have never heard of poly acid but I'm really intrigued now xx
Hi, Pauline. I've never heard of it either! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'll definitely give the one from The Inkey List a try since they're one of my favorite brands for skincare. Take care!
You mean Polyhydroxy acid?
I mix inkey list polyglutamic acid with protect and perfect serum. Recently bought some polyglutamic acid from superdrug to try
You have solved my dilema! I will go for the inkey list hyaluronic acid and see if it can replace my beloved la roche posay b5 +ha. Thanks for the great overview and recomandation!
Eek gonna change my routine as I mix poly with no 7 protect and perfect as my 1st serum. Will now use it at the end before moisturiser. Thanks!

So...i just got a hyaluronic moisturizer...can i add the polyglutamic serum with it?
Yes you can but it's not always needed as one will usually be enough x

Every time I go to film Bubby things it is bath time, lol. I'd rather hear snoring than licking and lip smacking noises.
Haha that's so so cute.. My little baby is sick at the moment so hes snoring with his cold he has 🤒.. Would love to see a pic of bubby xx
Mad About Skin I’ll tag you on it on pics of him. He’s a big boy
