I wish they didn't treat Nightwing like shit the DCAMU felt like one big Damian fandom. Nightwing is always treated poorly and it pisses me off. Nightwing deserves better.
nightwing was unfortunately never the focus for them he was a device used to help for Damien's development.
wish even in the teen titans films we saw more of him but it never happened.
@@ephraimajuyah This universe is the reason I despise Damian Wayne. They nerfed everyone just to give Damian the spotlight. Batman destroying Damian in Dark Apokolips War is the best moment in the DCAMU.

Lol as a Ghanaian who got introduced to DC animation, I completely agree with you. My first DC animated movie i watched was Justice league Doom on DVD. Ever since, I was hooked on the DCAMU
Justice League doom is literally my favourite dc animated film outside the dcamu.

Sorry but are just Batman movies with Damian Wayne as the center of the universe.
That’s one thing they messed up. Idk if it’s because they were afraid other characters wouldn’t sell or what, but they should’ve focused on other characters more.
yep they really focus on the two of them, but it did pay out at the end. In the expense of most other characters screen time

Apokalips War should’ve been split into two parts. The story was good, but the deaths weren’t impactful because they happened so fast. We should’ve spent the first movie with all the characters who die earlier on and the teams that sacrificed themselves taking down Darkseid’s towers. It ends with the big fight where everyone starts dying, like Genosha in X-men 97. Then the second movie could’ve focused on team Constantine.
yeah true the first apokolips battle they lost, was rushed but I feel ot adds to how rash superman was with his plan, like they touched on the fact Damien was angry with him because he didn't plan the first attack well.
But 100% that film should have gotten the same treatment as the current crisis trilogy

I'm mad that they broke up Superman & Wonder Woman. They belonged together both in the Comics and the animated movies. DC never lets their relationship really shine like it should and I'm tired of it.
yeah but its usually lois and clark, just wish we got more of superman and wonder woman before they ended it.

start of flashpoint the justice league is already a thing, and jl war & throne of atlantis it was still an ongoing formation.
and we even see characters that don't appear in any of the films like captain atom.
so that's what i meant, the films after could have been prequels.
This is a far better movie series than the dceu

I think that the DC Animated Movie Universe was a great idea on paper, but some of it didn't work for me.
Throne of Atlantis' version of Ocean Master was too goofy for my taste (despite my love for Sam Witwer)
Batman: Bad Blood wasn't great.
I didn't like this version of Beast Boy.
A lot of Wonder Woman: Bloodlines was bad.
The Riddler twist in Batman: Hush was stupid.
On the whole, it was a good universe, and it had a lot of shining moments. Great vid. I'm subbing.
thanks man, the riddler twist i was really indifferent for it didn't really care, but seeing as it was originally meant to be his friend in the comics it would have been blatantly obvious if they just made him hush. And i liked how when batman found out he was just playing with his intelligence.
@@ephraimajuyah The thing with Tommy’s identity being Hush was meant for Batman to discover, not the audience. It was in character for Bats to mock Edward.
dcamu as indeed some of the best shows ive watched, not all good tho (batman and ninja turtle and such) sadly i havnt seen the magic lately, the 3 part crisis one is good enough but nowhere close to red hood or even justice league crisis on 2 earth who (unless im wrong) never happened in the comics and was awesome...
but batman and ninja turtle isn't part of the dcamu, yeah the crisis trilogy is just a showing of how the tomorrowverse animation failed.
i did enjoy some of the other animated films like red hood though. they were good
@@ephraimajuyah sorry i assumed dcamu stood for dc animated movie universe, also i do like how dc kept their seriousness instead of going full on "target the 5 years old kids" like marvel did.
it does stand for that but there were still movies they made outside of that, like the killing joke 😭.
And the mature aspect is something i loved, was a breath of fresh air
@@ephraimajuyah yep, also im on the side of those who think more movies should be animated because many movies with lots of potential got ruined for going live action ex: green lantern.
yep but the Ideal situation will be to have both but good. Warner Bros need to get their head in the game, hope james gunn is a step in the right direction

Well i enjoyed dcamu but it was a hit or miss for me i don't like how the main characters are basicly batman and his son and superman and constantine and maybe cyborg he played big roles in the beginning and the ending of this universe but the rest of the justice league and titans felt like just a supporting characters but at least when dceu failed dc compensated us with those movies however dcau still the best dc universe for me
yesh it was a very Damien and Bruce centric universe, shame we really get much diversity outside superman, constantine and maybe the suicide squad.
