Navie i heard other producers on youtube saying that simplicity is key in beat making including automation clips , is there a certain amount of automation clips i should consider making or is more of what i think the beat needs, should i be worried that an artist might not enught space if i use to many FX and automation clips ?

All your tutorials are AAA level. Before discovering your channel, I was watching shallow tutorials on different random TH-cam channels trying to grasp very basic concepts in FL without much success. My motivation to be a beat-maker had started dwindling very fast. But when I discovered you two weeks ago, and after going through your library of tutorials, I have no doubt that I struck a goldmine of relevant information for a complete beginner like me. My motivation is back at 120%. Some people create content just to get views and get paid, but your content tells me you do it because you really understand exactly what a beginner like me needs to get started, and you do it selflessly. What you have is a complete FL Studio syllabus that starts from A to Z, explained in a very simple manner. I can't thank you enough man.

Automation is more often overlooked by trap /hip hop producers where else you would find a house or techno producers use it more often i myself started using it more months ago and i can feel my beats having a clean translations
That's a really interesting point. When I made the soundtrack to a video game (where the music was electronic/club music) I found automation was so much more crucial in every song in order to improve the transitions. I agree though, I think learning it can help with every genre though

Good evening. I am having a serious problem with automation. Everytime i make an automation on a pattern and i want to duplicate or loop that pattern, the first midi note of that pattern, disappears. I've seen the same thing happen on Pro Tools. Is there any way to get through this or a video you can refer me to that I can learn from so that I can get around this issue. Thanks.
I use automation to a point but never knew how to do third party stuff. I went through your videos and didn’t find this situation or video. Can you do a video on making just drum patterns feel more alive. I know cutting some in and out, time shifting, and using different things like a snap for a snare sound sometimes. I just always struggle with my drums for some reason.
I have a question? Do you necessarily need automation clips when you make beats or can you make beats without them and get the same results? So basically the clips just make it look more professional...
You can definitely make good beats without it. It's just an additional tool at your disposal, but it won't be a make or break factor in getting your beats to sound good

So my at the end of my beat I have an automation clip fading down the sound but at a certain point right before it fades out completely it goes back up to being loud and I don’t know what to do pls help
Well Tutorial, but..... Do not set an automation clip for the mixer volume knob. Do it with the single audio file or use Fruity Balance. Cause you can´t control the volume in the mixer after that

@@Aqi_momo fair enough, thanks for your input man. Automation is definitely more of an advanced technique that I started doing later on, so this might not be a video for everyone. I understand what you mean. Basically, automation is getting FL Studio to change parts of your beat without you having to do anything. So you can slowly change the volume of a sound in a beat to make it louder or quieter in different sections, or automatically turn an effect on or off in a beat. It's just a way to add more detail in your music.
I couldn't work in your project honestly I need all the elements to be organized and named 😂. Same for automations I don't like them to be too long I cut them just the size needed
Hahaha yeah my stuff is definitely chaotic. I like to try lots of ideas out so labelling and organizing them would slow me down with this type of workflow

back in the day before mastering, automation use to be the end game for tracks, apart from snar rolls and stuff but yeah warm and fuzzy

It's definitely a key tip. I'd get annoyed when I'd try to do it manually by mouse and it would just skip over the value I was trying to get it to

Yeah in electronic music they use tons of automation!! I use too un trap/drill beat mostly for modulate cutoff and ad movement
