Ken’s Steak House is an actual restaurant in Framingham, MA.. As the steakhouse grew in popularity, customers started requesting their salad dressings. A friend of the owners licensed the name to start producing the salad dressings and to this day they’ve remained an independent company. In 2005, they bought Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce.

He really does! But I think it's what helps makes Jackson so smart!!
It has been proven through studies that adult talk will greatly improve a child's grasp of a language and will improve their ability to learn proper language structure and not have to unlearn wrong grammar or voice cadence

I just held my phone for my daughter to watch from her labor and delivery bed! 4cm and counting now! It was a great way to distract her! We love how the nursery came out!!! And maybe both of you will have a feb 27th baby!!

if you can't figure out what else to do with the empty space on the wall, you can always buy some letters and spell out his name. or buy a blank oversized canvas and Jackson can paint a picture for him.
My first baby slept in our room and would stay up after the 2am feeding. My second baby went right to sleeping in his room and only got up to feed and then right back to sleep… every baby is really so different

I knew I would cry at the birth of my second in August. I was surprised I cried mostly because of the IMMEDIATE relief when she was out and I KNEW the discomfort was over and I would no longer feel constantly hot and huge.
It is cowlick. I curse mine lol.
Now I want a Greek salad and burger. I suddenly got so hungry.

I've always thought whatever you put them in to go home makes it the special outfit, not what kind it is. But you guys should bring him home in something wild, like a hotdog costume or something. That can be the tradition you guys start haha
I hope you have a smooth delivery! My baby slept wherever he would sleep lol he had a touch of colic so wherever he fell asleep, we left him 😂. Our bed (which we would sleep somewhere else), the swing, car seat, even the stroller one time lol.
When my nephew was born my sister realized they forgot an outfit so he came home wrapped in his dads shirt lol.
Most people take a ton of pictures on the day baby comes home so you want baby in something cute 🥰 it’s a moment you remember forever and often the outfit you keep as a keepsake for when they are older.
The nursery looks awesome. The baby may not sleep in his room for awhile, but it will be nice to spend some time in a pretty room thats finished. Even if it's just putting him down on the floor in there or walking around with him baby-wearing him. That's how I felt with my daughter's room, I was in her room with her, I was SO tired but I thought at least I can look at something pretty/calming.
I am so excited for your beautiful family to gain another beautiful member. I thought the same thing too Jenn, that you were going to go into labor today and have him on Monday! I hope so for your sake because I’m sure pregnancy has become pretty uncomfortable at this point for you. Praying for a smooth and safe labor for you and baby boy. Love the baby's room! My boys both came home in white outfits. Back in the seventies, I was told by my relatives that my babies HAD to come home in white, a symbol of innocence! Now, you can bring them home in really cute outfits! My babies also slept in their cribbs from day one at home! I had a bassinet downstairs to lay them in if I was busy, but at night, they slept in their cribbs.

I actually love the mirror where it is--the varied heights of the different wall hangings give the room a more whimsical feel--and I vote for the Dumbo outfit for coming home--it's so sweet!🥰 I have a friend who actually made a shadow box of her son's going home outfit and gave it to her husband for Father's Day--and I've had other friends who've made one to hang in the baby's room.

Yes Ken's Steakhouse is a restaurant in Framingham, Massachusetts. The factory that makes the dressing is also in Framingham, MA as well.
Kens salad dressing is manufactured in Massachusetts and there is actually a Ken's steakhouse restaurant right down the road.
I went into labor at Ikea! Luckily my water didn't break there, but all the walking must have done the trick. He was born very early the next morning after those very early contractions!

At this point of your pregnancy don’t worry about anything but you and your family and we’re looking forward to hearing about the new baby and how Jackson is as well. But only when it is convenient for you. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has said special prayers for you and a safe and healthy delivery.
I use to have a star nightlight lantern from pottery bar. Something like that would be cute on that shelf.

Oh my gosh, I can relate to feeling like an oven! We had baby #2 this past August and I was running the AC between 67-68 from June on. Once that baby was out I finally felt cold again! Pack a bigger fan for the hospital though, I was still super overheated until about day 5 or 6. I packed so much junk food for the hospital! I had those giant laffy taffy, licorice and some chocolate!

Yes Ken Steak house is a real place in Framingham Massachusetts. It was a family steak house restaurant.
That moment where Tim is watching you, Jenn, watching your tv, I could see at that one moment, how much he loves you. It was so beautiful.
I can't find any other comment saying this but realtors recommend homeowners paint their houses muted tones of grey, brown, and creme so that it feels plain enough for the buyer to picture it to be their home. So glad Jen is feeling good this far along compared to her pregnancy with Jackson, wish you guys the best!
The actual Ken's Steakhouse is about 40 mins from me. I drive by the manufacturing plant for the dressings probably once a month. Ken's Italian is my favorite and it's a tragedy in my house if we run out lol

Babys room is adorable. Don’t count on the water breaking, it don't always break even in labor I went into labor with my second 40 years ago and was seven Centimeters dilated and the water was still intact. Still think you will go into labor tuesday

Share a note on your phone for grocery items needed. You can even use the little checked item feature in case they don’t have something you can keep it unchecked. My husband and I have been using this forever and it’s so helpful! We always have a list going. 😊 hope this helps!

I assumed that there’s a special outfit because people usually take pictures or video of the baby marking the occasion. Also, most babies grow out of the newborn or even 0-3 clothes fast. I think the baby will mostly be in the onesie type outfits fit the first weeks once they get home

When I had my children years ago babies came home in outfits that were special to the couple, whether it was an heirloom passed down or just one the couple really liked and when they were finished with the outfit the parents would put their outfits in shadowboxes or frames for special keepsakes. Best of Luck to you all. I can't wait to see the new Tracker baby!!!
