Quest needs more racing games!!
and with very decent graphics like this, they should focus on making a racing game that used all of the hardware from quest 3 so it wouldn't be so graphically limited
Quest is crying out for racing games
Omega Pilot is realy nice.
It would draw people. Without racing titles, a headset kinda loses out on a whole segment of gamers who mostly do racing.
So many people bought the PSVR2 because they could justify it for GT7. People play racing games for years, buying VR to make that game more fun is totally reasonable. Meta is missing out big here.
Proper racing games not just tossed together Unity assets. Someone spent time on this.
I got it, it's an insane game , i'm a biker in real life and this one give me lot of sensation. Good job devs, i hope it will come on metastore .

Dosent have counter steering like a real motorcycle. I went off the track thinking I was making a right turn, but went left. Still a cool game thought, should be an option in the settings. Could be potentially dangerous if you ride, as you’ll get used to not counter steering.
Id love to see road rash in vr
a remake of road rash jailbreak in vr would be the greatest bit of pure fun to be had in quite some time well at least for me vr needs More sport racing and skyrim esque games vr skater on pc is a fun time wish it was on standalone

@@JimmyNuisancejust sl huh sl is the dlc for vr skater on pc the base game maps are actually better but its cool that at least sl is on standalone the controls and combos are complex but so satisfying

Just discovered them the other day. Saw this game on there. Metacity patrol looks promising. Pick that up up last night for 6 bucks. Ill be checking that out later today.

Now somebody has to do is make some handlebars that sway where you can put your controllers in and act like you're riding a bike instead of trying to hold your arms up
I've made it for flight sims and this was my next idea.
Looks great it really does. Just some more tweeking on on handling and engine sound and whatever and could end up being a top racer for quest 3.
Sega if you're seeing this how about Manx TT superbike VR. Loved it in the arcades.
Ask the developers to slow down the swing motion. Maybe its user error but a bike doesnt thrash around like that. Its somewhat off putting. Overall looks good. Maybe the swing aint so bad in game over a video. Ive been riding bikes for 20 years. Track too. Im gonna wait on this one. See if i can diy my sim racing wheel to attach handle bars for a bit of fun. If it works im gonna pitch my idea to moza racing lol. They recently brought out a wheel for truck sims lol. I cant, but they may be able to make a working break and throttle. On a bike, only brake you step on is the back brake.
They probably have a discord and might give you a key to help with feedback
Yeah I wish someone would make a realistic handlebar type setup with twist throttle and maybe even a clutch. Steering in most motorcycle games is terrible and so much more difficult than when you’re really on a bike. Give us more realistic physics and bike reaction to those inputs also.
I bought the game, played it, refunded. I have a lot of hours in V-Racer Hoverbike (PC VR) and it handles much, much better than this. A lot of handling adjust as well, so you can fine tune it to your style.
Handlebar peripheral in the works. As aways, great stuff.

The game is called VRider and will be coming to the meta store later this year and Steam as well. I hope they have an enhanced Q3 version at release.

A simple pvc pipe helps a lot with the steering
Tape that tube to something like a mop and you got yourself a bike. Lets you rest your hands on the handlebars rather than keep your hands out in front of you.

@@SaMiK81he like many content creators prefer the pc platform but this is available on quest2 and 3 on applab i just bought it for $20 on quest 2 if you want to use on pc then you do need to connect through a link cable or air link to steam

This game is great I like the controls how you hold them sideways and twist your wrist for throttle.
I've never been able to go around a corner on bike games on flat so I don't know how i'd cope in VR 😅

Gotta slow down more than you think. When learning tracks it's always a good idea to go way slower than you think, that way you can learn how fast you can actually take a turn rather than learn how fast you can't take it.

I like the graphics, but I wish the control was much more like V-Racer Hoverbike. V-Racer is SO much smoother and more accurate.
If we can get this, but free roam with street legal bikes, it would be the best best quest game
It is good but i hate the handling of gp bikes,they handle like tanks..i hope they do a motorcross game
I have to half-ass Ride 4 with UEVR to get a decent superbike game in VR.
I haven’t tried Ride but I guessed it wouldn’t feel like a real racing bike game

Grid does looks and plays better now than it did at launch still not great tho but hours of game is there.
Looks ok. It's kind of hard to like it after playing Ride via UEVR.

I've got a rally game on applab which is quite good from memory. Think ot is Rally x or something. Courses are really short but graphics are decent
I felt like I needed to make a bike seat with handle bars to play this. It feels weird to turn and lean. Looks decent though, better than grid lol

Driving games have steering wheels but superbikes don't have a an equivalent so motion controllers is the perfect way to play as you actually need to tilt like a real bike, even Ride4/5 UEVR only uses gamepad.

the resolution your running it at is under the quest 3's native resolution

I'm imagining this brings on motion sickness pretty quickly for anyone susceptible! I love the idea of sim racing in VR but I can't cope with more than a few laps in faster cars. Really annoying as the VR in Automobilista 2 is incredible.

I dream for a cheap physical VR Bike Controller that you attach the controllers to and is shaped like a joystick with a T shape so you have a much more precise anchor point for leaning and the throttle could be spring loaded. It could be designed so that its base sits on a chair and you sit on it with the T coming up between your knees with adjust able height.
There was on like that for the ps3 and the move controller it opened up for bike games and the right side has the throttle twist I actually have that thing.

That's not how you ride a bike though.
You counter steer on a bike. You push the handle bar in the direction you want to go.
