not odd at all! it’s a Specialized bike- i got it just for college! it’s a great commuter bike :)

what is mind like? i am an incoming freshman, and i am thinking about taking my first year. loved the video!
i really enjoy the class! it’s a lot of reading scientific literature and exploring what exactly the mind is, and what processes the mind undergoes to give rise to certain psychological phenomena. right now, a typical week of class would look something like this: watching lecture over the weekend, reading the assigned papers from sunday to tuesday, writing the weekly paper (very short! only a few hundred words) on tuesday, replying to classmate papers on wednesday, and discussing the material with our section on thursdays! every section’s schedule is a bit different since we all have different profs, but this is generally how the class operates! hope this helps, and welcome to uchicago!!! :)

hi! so glad to hear you’re applying!:) i wouldn’t say it’s boring at all since this school has a lot of beautiful places on campus to study! but in my opinion it’s always more fun studying w friends than alone haha

lolll i didn’t wanna pay for a bed frame so i found some pallets, cleaned them up/sanded them down, and painted them to use as a makeshift bed frame😅
