  • Poor Flake being set up front and center, while Paul is suffering somewhere in the background...

    Flake might be shy and he is a stutterer, but that does not hold him back from giving interviews more than the others, writing books and doing public readings.

      I have to see more stuff with him as usually in these "Making Of" videos he's fairly absent.

    I've been waiting for this reaction! I can't wait for the next one. Du hast is one of my favorite music videos and I think the first one with behind the scenes footage aswell. Btw it's Paul's birthday today! ❤️

    Those are rather rare, I assume.
    Btw, thanks for responding to another comment!

    There is a nice story about a bavarian man coming to heaven, and when he did not like the "heavenly nectar" and the singing of psalms, god send him back to the Hofbräuhaus, where he sat down, got a beer and stayed there forever. Because, now he realy was in heaven.

      I like the story. It makes sense to me. It's hard to accept such a huge change if you enjoy your life on earth...

    2:06 Yep, the German word "Engel" (ENGH-EL, "angel") is pronounced with a hard G. :) That's pretty much the standard in the German language, compare for instance with the not to be confused German word "Angel" (ANGH-EL, "fishing rod"). Anyway, great reaction to another Rammstein making-of video! Looking forward to the next one! :)

    This was a very fun behind the scenes. I've always adored them. I've watched this for the first time with you so I didn't know about Richard impaling himself on a nail. There's also an official English version of this song released by Rammstein which is so weird to listen to (th-cam.com/video/ZruYV90M4ts/w-d-xo.html) Thank you for the video friend!

    i seeing this now, and really liking.
    This comment is for someone that come here in the future:
    their first album wasn't received as "right-wing'. the album COVER was perceived as eugenistic(the first one, not the one on spotify; With all them, in an absurd white color), but not the album.

    • @xsezz
      @xsezz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I will. I'm doing their songs in release order. Engel was released in 1997, Ich will in 2001, so we're close. ;) Stay tuned because I'm reacting to all Making Of videos.

    Cool video as always.
    The backing vocals are sung by Bobo (her band is called "Bobo and the white wooden houses") she sung in some other songs (Nebel, Alter Mann "special version" and on a remix of Du riechst so gut she made with her band).
    She also worked on a duet with Till wich was never released (a german only version of Stirb nicht vor mir) instead it's Sharleen Spiteri (Texas) who did the song (she sings in english and Till in german).
    Bobo also made live appearances during rammstein shows between 1998 and 2001, sometimes in a flamming cage

    • @xsezz

    in the early 80s the music videos came up
    i really struggled a long time with that because i thought the MUSIC is the essence - not the perfect visual appearence - it distracts from the true audio ....... Well - Rammstein does it both

    • @xsezz
      @xsezz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Music is the essence of course. I believe some scenes can enhance the audio. Like you said, Rammstein does it both. The Official Video of Mein Herz Brennt Piano Version is a really good example of this.

      @@xsezz I grew up without visuals. the radio was the source. i've been a kid but up until today it seems to me such an intense listening experience. Of cause i today love good vids with the music. but i still have the feeling that closed eyes, open ears and brain is the thing.

    • @xsezz
      @xsezz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@paolopoempel3048 No, you're making sense. It's like that moment when you listen to music doing... whatever you're doing and you just close your eyes, lean back and just enjoy the sound without anything else "distracting" you. ;) You're absolutely right!
