280 golden apples and 25 silver apples just waiting to be used for something. already cleared 3 boxes and i havent even used a single golden apple lol.
I only had 60 gold ones, have used 31 and am now at 34(yes with some that the event gives). I must have also used up 40 silver and 90 bronze, of which I have none left.

Honestly lottery is even MORE IMPORTANT than before thanks to the new append skills costing so much so it's best to do what you can or look ahead at what servants need. Gonna focus on bond grail Farming so it should be easy to be motivated I'll probably just use all or most of the gold apples I have and leave my silver ones alone. 100 or 200 should be fine.
I'm using this event as an "catchup" type of event where I upgrade the servants that will be very useful for my parties and upgrade them as fast as I can. This is a gapple safe event so I'm willing to burn as much of these as possible for the lotteries and event currencies.

Use your bronze apples first. Then use silver, then use gold. Also, I'm terribly lazy. I have several very capable Servants still sitting at 1/1/1 or worse 1/1 because I don't do grinding that well. In short, a mix of long term playing, laziness, and just do each of the quests for events. Also, lottery events like Gilfest and Christmas have golden apples in the roulette

Should I burn apples to farm Blazes of Wisdom? They seem like the most valuable currency to me but I’m relatively new (started just in time to get Jeanne Alter Berserker off that event) so idk. I’m also free to play if that is relevant.

Though, I do somewhat r3gret procrastinating and not starting n the event earlier so I could limit break Scenic Beauty or whatever it was called. Oh well, not to much of a loss. Nothing Merlin ans Hans can't fix.

Depends, are you willing to spend your time in holiday with farming the lotto ??, If yes, do it. If you're lazy, just get the first 10 boxes, it's always worth. For me, I'm just going casually farming, since I need more proofs for skill levelling.

92 gold Apples after emptying the lotto boxes with them, already used all my silvers. Now it is down to Gold, and using Bronzes to get a 20 with the 140 for a solid 4 runs of 40. and I keep forgetting to add the gold apples from the node clears. So maybe more like 100 golds. I'll probably still have a ton left over by the time Karna Santa shows up, but those Feathers are needed, along with Hero Proofs for Artoria and Suzuka.
Tbh I only use the bronze and silver and the occasional gold ones the event gives me. And I’m also not a freak at farming so using the things I said before is enough.
I've never really gone all in for lotto farming before, but here I am with ~500 G. apples and a burning need for mats and embers. time to go full degen
just clear like one box per day for the first 10 days and put everything you got into the last few days. that way you should be able to clear at least 20 boxes.
Ohh for this fight, you really just need to survive. Throw a healer in the front line, someone with party def (waver or mash), and an aoe saber as the dps and you’ll be fine.
@@macplatinum9325 Who said you use your own Merlin ?? use someone's Merlin, LOL. I don't have him either, I'm planning to do it since I've Arjuna Alter, and there is a strat where you place Saber Alter, Mash and Merlin so they can guarantee you thicc defense.
im in the VERY small minority here but i always skip the exhibition and challenge quests in fgo. i started playing this hellish game for waifus, not to try and break my head open trying to figure out hard mechanics. waifus for laifu
@@freakcan even for the tickets its not worth the stroke inducing rage you get from trying to clear even one of these damn quests. just the touta quest cost me 2 hours of my life and part of my sanity and all the ticket got me was a 3*ce that turned into a single mana prism.
I am once again thanking FGA for its unconditional love and support in keeping my hands alive, whether it's farming the lotto while I sleep or opening all those goddamn boxes.
This lotto is far more valuable in my opinion than the others for one reason. Hero Proofs. No one ever has enough of these things.

The first 10 boxes give 1 gold apple, 2 silver apples and 3 bronze apples each. Starting from the 11th one, they inly give 3 bronze apples.

the fodder soldiers on the other hand do 6k+ dmg in one hit and 15k with a crit.
better stack that defense
Use mash and Merlin combine, absolute stall, and place your best Aoe damage dealer in front of them.

These challenge quests give tickets which can help get servants/waifus.
