    Brinkley is definitely the way to go! Higher quality, better processes, "real" plumbing, and an actual wiring harness, and and outstanding customer service! ❤

    We live full-time in a Brinkley z3100 and we love it. Like you we looked at the Alliance rigs as well as Grand Design Solitudes. In the end for us Brinkley won out. The reason we went Brinkley was because we felt the build quality was so much better. The solid wood drawers we so much nicer than the other rigs. Also as you mentioned the cabinets and drawers are all painted, not laminated. The PEX plumbing throughout, the H rated 16 ply tires. I could go on and on. In addition to the build quality the customer service from Brinkley has been amazing. We had a couple issues and they were right on it and took care of them under warranty.
    In the end you have to choose the right 5th wheel for you. But I would highly recommend the Brinkley. Also if you have any specific questions about the Brinkley, and what it's like to full-time in one, please feel free to ask away! Good luck on your RV search!!

      Thank you for the recommendation! And actually, after we discovered the Brinkley we did some searching on TH-cam and your tour video was our first Brinkley video. We've since been following your journey and really enjoy your channel. Thank you for sharing you adventures! 😃
      We're still in the planning stages, how much solar & batteries, what truck to buy, what we'll need to get rid, etc, but the hard part about picking the rig is basically done. We're most likely going with the Z3100, it seems like a perfect fit for us. Having the T dining table for office space, plus the dresser desk option if one of us are Zooming seems like a great solution.
      Thank you again for watching and commenting your recommendation. Please continue posting great videos so we can travel vicariously through you until we have our rig 😃

    after many, many months going thru ALL the fifth wheels I could touch and feel. I decided on the Brinkley Z3400 for our full time living home. Alliance never used to have things falling apart, but when we toured them I seen the same things. Lights falling out of the celling in two. Bad trim on the drawers and cupboards. The Brinkley comes with a CC, inverter and 270hw solar panel. The Z3100 desket slides to the left to a middle spot and have two desks in one. The paper towel holder in on a slide out drawer. In the bathroom closet is the instant hot water controller. The materess in the Brinkley Z3100 is a 9 inch memory foam

      I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying your Brinkley. We're really excited about the brand. What made you choose the Z3400 over the Z3100? We briefly looked at the Z3400, but we didn't think we'd get much use out of the second kitchen. How often to you use the back porch and second kitchen space?

    I e been researching for the last couple of years. I've watched hundreds of videos, been to rv shows and dealers. Brinkley Z2900 all the way for me. Check out the newer Z2900...it has a T shaped dining desk area now (like you saw in the Z3100). Perfect for desk set up. Another great feature with the Brinkley...all the water areas (sinks, toilet, shower) each have individual shut off valves. Also, all the electrics are labeled.

    In that Alliance Paradigm 295, the bathroom is accessable through a general door from the hallway - good for guests as well - and the inner door between the bedroom and bathroom is about convenience as it allows you to move easily between bedroom and bathroom without having to go out the bedroom.

      That makes sense. I can see how that might be handy to have both options. For us I think we prefer to have one less door, and have another wall for cabinets/towel hooks. Thanks for the explanation :)

      @NomadsAmor We've owned 2 different Heartland 5th wheels. The first and smaller we'd outgrew but absolutely loved it. We got the 39MB bighorn traveler and I've never been more disappointed. So many QC issues at the very least and looking at their new line up, I'm not impressed at all. We want to drop back down in length and the Z3100 certainly clicks a lot of what we still want to have (plus more). I've looked at Grand Design, Forrest River and Keystone online only so far. It took two years of rv shows and searches to find the one we want to get rid of so I hope Brinkley shows up to strut at one or more of them to see in person. 😀

      @@brookhigginbotham-uj1mg I hope they come to an RV show near you too. We're keeping an eye out for RV shows near us, or at least within driving distances. The RV dealer we went to didn't have any deals on the Brinkleys so we're hoping an RV show might offer some sort of discount. At the very least we'll be able to see a couple more of the models to make sure if the Z3100 is the perfect fit for us. Thanks for the details on your experience with RVs, we'll stay away from those brands that are giving you trouble 😃

  • @raoulroberts

    Both brands are fairly new - Alliance is a little older, and they each seem to have loyal customers. I can't recall coming across anyone switching one brand for the other. Both reportedly have good customer feedback - they have taken care of their customers and responded to problems and warranty issues in a timely manner. Personally, I find Brinkley more appealing - construction, attention to detail, design, customer service, and exterior aesthetics. I recommend looking at factory tours to help further distinguish between them.

      Thanks for the advice and the information about each companies histories. I knew that Brinkley was newer, but I didn't realize that Alliance was also a new company too. The dresser top pulls out and they have an optional leaf you can put in - I use it as my desk as I work full-time from the road.

    • @NomadsAmor
      @NomadsAmor  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's awesome! Thanks for the tip. That'll really come in handy if one of us is on a Zoom meeting. Would we need to order the leaf when we get the RV, or it's something that you get from Brinkley later on? And, how's the height, is it more of a standing desk or would we use a chair?

    • @billosborn9600
      @billosborn9600 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@NomadsAmor You will need to order it. The leaf folds in half to make for easy storage. The height is a bit higher than a standard desk. I use an adjustable office chair with a modified base. I have seen some in the Brinkley group using one of the dining chairs with pillow.
      If you are looking to buy a Brinkley for full-time use, I would also recommend double pane windows. They really help with noise and window condensation. We also like the queen bed as it gives you more room on either side of the bed and comes with small nightstands with additional storage.
