- Days Like These was a short-lived attempt to remake That 70s Show for a British television audience. This episode, Equal Rites is a redo of the original episode Battle of the Sexists. Love Eric's dress!
Imagine watching this in the UK, then moving to the US and seeing That ‘70s Show and loving it a lot more.
You have to commend how great the writing was from the original show that it's still as funny with UK actors saying the same jokes. It universally transcends all cultures and languages no matter what setting it's put in. That '70s Show will always be one of the greatest sitcoms ever. Love it!

Right! I don’t get it. When I first heard about it I was convinced I hate it but I don’t.
Even though it pretty much just complete copy of the original but with the America reference replace with British once’s and the acting is it the best but some how it still not bad. I kind wish it had more episodes

I think i'm the only person in the world who is in love with this. i like who each actor portrays their character a bit differently from the american version.
The way the show is remade as a British sitcom from the '70s is very clever.
All of the actors are so bland, this is literally the worst shit i've ever seen
It's kinda weird cause kelso and jackie looks like a normal teenager when foolin around in that 70s show..
But here, it's kinda makes me uncomfortable cause jackie looks like a really nice church girl while maguire looks like a rockin adult from molly hatchet posters
If you want to feel weird about the original too, when That 70s Show started, Ashton Kutcher was 20 and Mila Kunis was 14.
It’s like an indie passion project from people who loved That 70s Show, the “fez” character is cool, Kelso is still stupid, and it even has a circle

It's a shame you don't have episodes 5 and 8 and a shame the last 3 didn't air. I only watched this because I've recently discovered That 70s Show and love it. This is a bad remake, but still enjoyed the comparison.
I like to think of this as like the original That 70's Show like how british The Office was.
Imagination is the key.

I think 5 and 8 probably had copyrighted 70s music that can't be on YT. All the other episodes have music claims to them.

They so much wrong with this show.
1. It literally just completely copy the original episodes storyline but replaced the American references with British ones.(which a lot of time don’t really translate over well)
2. The acting is great ( not necessary because they are bad actor# more so it feels like they try way to hard to be their American counterparts )
3. Jackie even more annoying in this one. (Didn’t even know this was possible)

This is notionally translated to the UK, but it's really not representativecof a UK 70s. The whole weed thing is very American. No average UK house had a garage luke that in the 70s! The Grimleys was a vasrly better depiction of the UK 70s, as well as being actually funny.
This is better because it’s English. English things are always better

It’s so sad this show didn’t make it to 2 seasons our version made it to 8 seasons! This one is better then ours! Well they both are amazing! Donna is awesome British and American !

No I like both, I just wish that they would have not removed it off of Netflix. I know I said I think it’s better but I don’t actually mean it. I just wish that they would have given it a chance. A longer chance than episodes.
@CR 7 I just now saw all of these. That is super weird. I guess because for a while there I have taken a break from TH-cam. Aside from watching it.
