that amount of torque on stock block? hmm i don't know i would change rods too be safe at least or reduce torque around 500-550max stock pistons aren't not that bad

Eyo is it reliable for stock engine 469hp? I am running 370hp on stock engine golf gti 6 (stage 3) and I think its almost at the end of being reliable. Its my dailycar.
It’s the torque that kills engines. Mk6 gti is a different engine ea888 first gen of what the mk7 and mk8 have. The mk6 r has the tfsi ea113 which is the mk5 engine but with upgraded internals due to the bigger turbo. They went from the ko3 mk5 & mk6 gti to the ko4 turbo in the mk6 r. Depending on what turbo you have for stage 3 I’m guessing you’re close to or above 400 tq somewhere between 3500 and 4300 rpm. Between that rpm range I’d ease into the power instead of flooring it to ground. You should be good, but it also depends on how often and how much you do spirited driving on your daily.

Amazing that the stock EA113 can handle that much power. What fuel was it on?
it can handle it for a short period of time, that torque will kill the engine.
i never gonna puch that power on my stock engine i gonna do stage3 safe +- 400/410 bp with an hybrid k04

@@enzodejongh5930no such thing as a safe tune. Anything outside stock parameters are not safe and is at own risk. Stock motor can only handle 550nm to the wheels. Not this crank shit people speak of now adays

Too much torque on stock internals.
Got the same turbo in a manual s3 8p.
Forged engine, cdl injectors, 165fpr, uprated lpfp.
Difference between k04 with uprated chra and tte480+ is huge.
Tte turbo runs smooth. Response is instant. Plenty of power on tap.
Going on dyno as soon as the dyno fans are sorted.

Vacuum leak for sure. Most common problems on these vehicles. Get a smoke test done.
