I just did the clutch and dual mass flywheel, release bearing, lower arms, oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter, gearbox driveshaft seals and perhaps a few other bits I can’t recall on my 2013 Alfa Romeo Giulietta, it’s a very similar design to the Astra and it’s an absolute nightmare. The positioning of the starter bolts is a joke. Took me 13 hours by myself from start to finish. Massive props to you for doing this regularly in a lot less time. ❤

Kevin great work as always. Have you done any renault kangoos 2004-2007 with a 1.5 diesel as mine needs to be changed soon with 315000km on the original. No slipping yet though.

I removed the egr valve on the diesel versions then the starter bolts are right there from the top. Just 2 bolts for the egr.
i have worked as mekanik fo about 10 years now in garage with tools so i have lots respect for you.

Thanks for feedback. The bearings was from the collapsed clutch thrust bearing.
It had completely blow up and caused considerable damage to the slider
