Pre-DoG doesn't make sense cause Bloodflare is a True Melee armor but you are using Terror Blade. Either go for Solar Flare armor with Terror Blade or Bloodflare armor with Mutilator/Holy Collider.
Wouldn’t Draedon heart better than The Sponge? Edit:Turtle armor also give 15% damage reduction and no damage penalty compared to reaver armor it is a good alternative.
D Heart replaces Adrenaline, meaning you are missing out on double damage and in boss rush you just want as much damage as possible. It's good against SCal tho, especially if you are playing on multiplayer and need to survive for teammates to respawn.
@@Djolej78 still when compare the sponge to other defensive accessories like Rampart of Deities or even The Amalgam there are many better end game option.
If you have time for grinding in fishing on hardmode, Frost Armor can be used pre-mechs. why i said this because when i start hardmode all i can do is fishing all day finding titanium ores and bars from crates
@@Djolej78 My arenas are typically just a long bridge across the world,and every now and then DoG would be just chasing me on it going completely straight, maybe that's why I had good results with it 🤷
stg this is literally the only guide that had any weapons that made sense the more viewed one had straight up downgrades in the next tier at some points (even this one has shit like the order bringer that just blows)
For pre-providence then elemental shiv is also a really good option imo Pre scal/exo mech then nadir/dragon rage (specifically to deal with brimstone hearts, sepulcher in infernum or gfb, and thanatos) is really solid as well

You can dash thru the boss with elysian aegis and it will count as true melee hit, and its pretty op on infernum lol

For pre DoG, i recommend the Death's Ascension. 8500-10000 dps shooting the homing scythes. The left click is useless though, just shoot the scythes.
Nah it's too slow and has bad tracking and piercing. Terror blade and Holy Collider (if going true melee) could easily double or even triple DA's dps.
