Its cool to see Bills fans also being fans of Zach Thomas how could you not be? I'm a diehard Packers fan, but Urlacher is my alltime favorite non Packer by a mile. Some guys transcend the rivalries

1. Patrick Surtain was a killa
2. Jason Taylor missed 2 games over a decade span during a time when an ACL injury could end your career. Total beast just like ZT. Taylor had 117 sacks for the Fins and CONSTANTLY forced fumbles. Not saying he’s better than ZT, but I remember those two guys being equally great in their positions. Both were warriors.

There is a long list of former players that belong in the HOF and a long list of guys that do not belong in the HOF.

Those that should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame: Larry Cole Dallas Cowboys, Jim Marshall Minnesota Vikings, Roger Craig San Francisco 49ers, Ed "Too Tall" Jones Dallas Cowboys, Bob Kutchenberg Miami Dolphins, Pat Fisher St Louis Cardinals/Washington Redskins, John Brodie San Francisco 49ers, Fred Dreyer Los Angeles Rams, Mark Clayton and Mark Duper AKA The Mark's Brothers, Mike Curtis Baltimore Colts.
@@frankdenardo8684 So what does the HOF look like if all it takes is 8000-9000 yards rushing or receiving? And maybe if a dude won something, but Duper and Clayton? Jim Marshall, Roger Craig, that's one thing. But Fred Dryer was a good NFL player. Same with Too Tall. I liked Hunter too and Too Tall was the man when you're a kid, but you can't open the floodgates.
If you blindly compare statistics wise of Brian and Zach as the only two options for the HOF. Even as a Bears fan Zach would be my choice between the two. Zach unfortunately was a on a perennial losing team post 2000 which is why he isn't on the radar for many who vote for the HOF.

Zach Thomas has been slighted his entire career, but he built more than enough of a resume as a pro to have been inducted by now. Its ridiculous that hes not in yet, but not surprising at the same time. Peyton Manning used to say Zach was the toughest linebacker he ever faced, and then now he says that about Ray since they both work for the same company.

My step dad played in Miami those years with Zach , JT and that stellar defense and he always tells me Thomas was the smallest backer but would knock you on your shit lol

Randy Gradishar played 10 years and averaged 200 tackles a year for over 2000. He has better numbers. He's not in either but they both belong.

9 less pro bowls, no defensive player of the year awards, never led the league in tackles multiple seasons, no super bowl MVP. London will eventually get in but Ray Lewis resume is screamed 1st ballot.

If you look at his career stats you will see that probably the most dominant guard that ever played is not in the hof. He had some stupid stat that it was like 13 seasons with only 16 sacks allowed. Ya, no. The NBA tries this with the All Star game. The fans vote for 500+ players every year to be All Stars, the players have been voting for like 150+ players to be All Stars, while the media usually only has like 40-50 different players who got at least 1 vote
