Unless David Baker is mega rich where he can afford his own camera crew and a private jet to travel in, who is providing these services to him or paying him for his time? Baker breaks em down. He shakes their hand, looks them in the eye, thanks them and welcomes them. He slows everything down, quiets everything down, brings it to a personal level and makes it REAL. And it just breaks the players down dang near every time.

13:04 - Charles Woodson is TRULY one of the greatest to EVER play. Winning the Heisman Trophy as a defensive player, while also winning the National Championship is something that will never be duplicated. Couple that with his equally legendary NFL career. His longevity as one of the game's best defenders has him is such rare company. It is not a stretch at all to have Charles as Top 10 all-time.

His Heisman year was NOT just for being a defensive player. People forget that he had 3 offensive TD's, as well as returned a Punt for a TD. He was a 2 way player at Michigan, who primarily played defense. I'm not sure if he would have won the Heisman, JUST off his defensive stats.

In 1975, a thirteen year old was at Sears in Valley View Mall in North Dallas. At a stand in the store, signing autographs was Drew Pearson. He signed a photo for me and let me talk to him for a couple of minutes. It was close to closing and instead of blowing me off, which he could have easily done, he took the time to listen to a naive kid. 46 years later, I still have that autograph photo. The photo means a lot to me, but more importantly was the time he gave me, and did it with a smile on his face. The free agent out of Tulsa is a hall of famer. Couldn’t happen to a better person in my eyes. I watched your speech and was honored to say that I watched him all those years. Thank you, Drew Pearson!

What made the end of the 2019 season great wasn't just the fact that KC won the SB (as I'm a Cards fan there was no way my team would get even close) but that whilst watching the pre-game shows for the playoffs, I got to see David Baker for the 1st time doin his thing for Bill Cowher & Jimmy Johnson. It was such a wonderful thing to experience.

It’s the ultimate recognition of individual achievement in the sport with championships being the pinnacle of team success. It’s very select company, easy to see why these guys get so emotional. Of the thousands of men to have played in the NFL, these guys are part of an elite group with only 300 something in that group.
