I bought one a few years back and was surprised at how much I liked it. I'm not a character but the knife gets lots of use in the garden, and it's also a decent camp cooking knife. Nice looking, too. Thanks.
I bought the exact same one a few years ago. But I use it in my kitchen for cutting Frozen stuff. The first time I saw it I knew it was something decent even though it was really cheap and price. The handle is pretty cool because you can hold it in any direction it's easy to keep sharp on a honing Steel.
I have a few they are good knives for sure there is no way you will find one as good as this one for 11 dollars trust me you have to put some time into them when you first get them but well worth the time I got all of mine very sharp and they stay that way. thanks for sharing semper fi.
I got a szco "khyber knife" years ago. It wasn't hardened, and I broke it in a day. I was chopping soft wood, and it took massive chunks out of the blade. Glad you had better luck than did.
Got one of these. Slight imperfections nothing that hurts the knife Hard steel sharpened up really sharp. Going to get another one tomorrow Grat knife.
Made one out of a Ontario butcher knife paid like $15.00 for it and had a hundred dollars worth of enjoyment making it like a kephart. Thin, and razor sharp. I keep it in my "Get Home" backpack thats in my car trunk.
Hey my friend thanks for watching in commenting! I’m glad the review helped you! It’s a simple, cheap knife that works! I threw mine in my hiking, backpack as a back up!
The other knife you might look at is the BS2FTS from BPS knives of Ukraine. It looks even more like a Kephart knife, and less then 30 dollars, and comes with a very nice leather sheath.
I like BPS, they have gone up considerably and are worth the current price, but are not the bargain they were and choose Mora over them as best bargain due to that and i like Moras carbon over bps 1065. To each their own.
Look at the Russel Dexter Green River Knife. About 20 dollars. No sheath. Made in the USA out of 1095 high carbon steel. Looks alot more lik,e a Kephart knife then the one your holding. Oh and Happy Easter! Yeah the Dadley Green River knife.
Brother that’s awesome! I just order a blank Dadley Green River blade so I’ll be doing a video on it and making a handle for it in the future! I think the blank was 12 bucks.
@@gustifer0311 I know more about knives from the 1800's then I do about "Modern" day knives, with a few exceptions. I think I may buy the Dadley kit, that I saw. Been some time since I built a knife. And the kit comes with handle scales and rivets. I right now have three green river knives and they are the best kitchen knives I own. Stay Sharp, and keep your eye on the horizon.
@@longrider42 I don’t think I got the kit, I think I just got a blank but I’ll find out. Out of all my knives, I think my condor Hudson Bay is my favorite :)
@@gustifer0311 Yep, I've had the Condor Hudson Bay knife for years, I even bought the small version. So between those two yeah, I can do lots. Now I refuse to chop or split wood with a knife, unless I was really desperate, but considering I also carry a tomahawk when I go into the woods. Yes, I am a Knife addict :)

Hey brother thanks for watching and commenting! I’ve stuck it in a pack so it’ll be a back up blade! Welcome to the channel!

Subbed great reviewI hope you do more bargain bushcraft.
Thanks, I have two of these, they work fine. Thanks for sharing 😊
Check out the "Condor Kephart" or "Bushlore". They’re made in El Salvador with 1075 steel and quite affordable

I love my BPS knives!
The basic 2 (bs2fts) is awesome. Very close to a kephart
