another good one there WOLFMAN GUS (nephew to Wolfman Jack!). she ain't big.....she ain't everything to everybody.....but she does so many things well. this is a dandy hiking and camping knife. lightweight and oh soooo sharp! and he hit it right on the head....THIS THINGS HANDLES BETTER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE! AND SHE MOONLIGHTS AS A GREAT MARTIAL ARTS COMPANION KNIFE. now THIS is a KNIFE!!
I’m considering buying one but I know one thing for sure: I wouldn’t be batoning with it when there are 2 tomahawks within an arm’s reach. 😀 Thanks for showing us the knife.
As I mentioned in another comment section on your KA Bar video, my dad collected knives and I inherited a few his knives BK-15 is one I just got out, it’s a first production run, has the interchangeable handles too. Keep up the cool vids!! Semper Fi
They're injection molded polymer sheaths. And definitely well done. Love the 18. Been wanting one for a few years now. Hopefully soon I'll pull the trigger
I prefer the harpoon for wood processing, and the nessmuck for skinning and food prep. While both will work for both, I find the blades' grinds and shapes just work great for those tasks, and they have the same handles, both with available micarta upgrades. And, both are just great knives!

lol, bk19 just becomes available recent couple of days. I pick SRKC as edc, equally funtional, $25 ish. Also Drop Forged Hunter, $44. Becker price nowadays, way too posh.
@@gustifer0311 BK9, was in my target. Instead, I just bought BK7 and RAT7. For a long blade like BK9, I find it useless in my lifestyle, or just bring also axe.
Unfortunately (from my experience) their customer service is God awful. Got the new knives & tools exclusive s35vn BK72 (BK2) & it was abysmal. Uneven grinds, blade pitting, & a blocky uneven / unfinished micarta handle. The kydex sheath was so tight i had to heat it up just to pull the blade out. The blade already had big scratches all over the blade from them forcing it in. They had literally ZERO interest in making it right, they opted to completely ignore my emails. Any company can have a lemon, how they address the issue is what matters & they failed miserably. Definitely wont be buying anything from KA-BAR again. Had lemons from multiple other companies & they immediate fixed the issue by replacing the blade. White river knives went above & beyond & gave me an upgrade to a more expensive model at no extra charge......even after i offered to pay the difference. Customer service & warranty is the most important factor when buying a knife for me.

I always like to deal or purchase from a dealer directly when I can here in Tennessee if we have a couple reputable knife companies we always take a headache risk when purchasing online I’m currently dealing with an Amazon return that they just cannot get right.

Just got mine in the mail yesterday, batoned a couple pieces of wood with it, it feels like a great knife.

@@gustifer0311 instead of BK9, try OKC SP53, SP5, SP10, or SP8. Half the price, best value. Or RTAK2, full tang handle.
