I have stayed right near there on solo trips to Disneyland (as an early 30s female) and just want to agree that it definitely feels safe! There will always be some folks around who may be down on their luck, however I never felt unsafe or pestered by them!

Hi guys!! Yes, you're right... the hotel is dated. It's been there for a really long time, and was recently (a couple of years before pandemic) remodeled. It used to be our go-to hotel for years until they raised their rates, but we still love it, and we still stay there occasionally. They actually do have rooms with bathrooms that have a separate vanity, and it's very roomy! I would suggest that if you stay there again, to call and ask for that specific room. And yes, the hotel is pet friendly. I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed the hotel and you're right... the best part is the short walk to the parks!! 🙂 Have a great week, Leffersons!!

I love The Anaheim. I don’t think I’d ever stay anywhere else. Adorable, friendly staff, comfy beds, clean, super close to the parks, and we definitely took advantage of the pizza place attached. The outdated bathroom doesn’t bother me because I’m never in my room!
Funny that you mentioned weddings, last time we were there we watched someone’s wedding/reception from our balcony 😂
Thanks for the video. Really helpful. Some of my questions were answered -like -would the front desk hold on to my luggage seeing that I get there early. 👍. I will stay there at the end of the month-can’t wait. Also loved ur other Disneyland videos. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
We stayed there in 2018 and I loved it, it wasn't to far away from the parks, loved the lobby, service was great & friendly. We also liked the toiletries, smelled good. I love the "open" concept too. I 100% stay there again in the future, cost effective for our family!

We stayed there twice and absolutely love the hotel. It's a perfect balance between close to Disney and affordability. And we enjoyed the little courtyard and pool too (where other hotels have their pools in the parking spots.)

My family and I stayed at that hotel 3 years ago, they had only remodeled half the rooms at that time so we got a very old room. 😞 It wasn't the Greatest experience. The shower handle came off when my mom went to shower, and hotel management took a few hours to send someone to fix it. And every time we took a shower in our room the steam from the shower made the fire alarm go off. 😂😂 Definitely an adventure. The location is great, but we won't be returning. Glad to see that they updated the rooms and that you guys had a great experience though. 🤗
I absolutely LOVED my stay there !
I stayed in 2019 and 2021, I didn't pay for the view; my room was larger with just a standard view across to the other buildings. The bathrooms both had two sinks with the toilet and tub in a separate room (similar to some moderates in WDW), overall my room was larger using more space -- didn't have the large entry or the mirror that Garrett observed. I stayed on the lower floor in building 2, it was a long lonely hallway; also stayed on the upper floor of building 7 both layouts were identical.
Thank you guys for sharing! JD and I have always loved trying the different hotels near Disneyland to get a good feel for which one is the best. Unfortunately MOST of the ones we’ve stayed at definitely give MOTEL vibes. The bathrooms always seem to be small and outdated. But it’s exactly what you said. You’re paying for the convenience of being walking distance to the parks. And that for us is huge when you’re wanting to leave the parks, but you have to wait to exit then wait for the tram then walk to your car 😭 my question I always have are how thin are the walls? As a person with a child, we try to always ask for the top floor to not have people stomping above us waking her up 🙄 i’m also glad that you guys felt safe walking to and from the parks. We’ve had our fair share of weird moments. They don’t call it Ana-Crime for nothing 😂
We honestly didn’t hear anyone around us when we were staying there! We were also on the second floor so we didn’t have to worry about people walking above us which was nice. I would definitely recommend requesting a second floor for that reason alone. It wasn’t perfect but overall a nice place to stay for the price… and you can’t beat the location!! 🙌
I've stayed here a few times with my wife when we go to Disneyland. We try to stay at a different hotel along Harbor every time we go, but we definitely liked this hotel even though it's dated. There's plenty of parking no matter what time of day/night your arrive. It might be a little bit of a walk from your room to your car, but in the morning you can always find a closer spot when the lot clears out. The walk to Disney is also super convenient and only takes about 8 minutes from your room to the front gates. Overall, I'll rate this hotel as a 7/10. Room and amenities are dated, no continental breakfast, but you don't have to worry about parking, the walk to Disney is short, and the area feels safe.

Thx for this video,I enjoyed our stay at the Anaheim Hotel over our recent stay at the Disneyland Hotel,.Parking for our car was closer,walk to Disneyland entrance was closer 10 min, About same size rooms, Comfortable beds,just as friendly staff,fair priced restaurants close by,Bar and Pizza place on site,Pool at Anaheim Hotel was better in my opinion.Its an older place but if your on a budget,save your $ and stay at an offsite hotel and you and your family can use that extra money to.enjoy the park together.
Could you guys do a tips video for those of us coming from DL to WDW and need a place to stay that's comfortable yet close to the parks? I've seen your vlogs and am thinking Art of Animation and Polynesian for the last few days where we don't want to do parks. Would love to see what thought process you guys use when booking your WDW trips.
By the way, the Anaheim Hotel was good to us locals when the parks first opened back up. We could park there and it made the trek easier to the parks for those of us who couldn't make the trek from the Mickey and Friends parking structure. I have a full leg brace and couldn't of done it without their hospitality. They were great. If we didn't live so close, we'd stay there for sure.
Do they charge any deposit when you check in? Do they have breakfast available?
Did you have transportation to/ the airport to the hotel. ?
I so want to go to DL. Was supposed to go for my first time in 2020 for my 50th bday but obviously that got screwed up(stupid covid). Maybe this year.🙄
I stayed here WAY back in 1992 and liked it. Do you know if they have rooms for a family of 5? If so, I'd stay there again.

Loved the Vlog thank you so much, I will be a lone traveller when I eventually get over from the UK I am in my late 60's and female., I would like to think that I would feel safe walking back to the hotel at night after visiting the park. Any thoughts on this? 😊❤
Absolutely!! I stay there for all solo trips and it’s incredibly safe. I go open to close and am never walking alone, always with groups of families.
We stay there and our room was not good because the air condition was right next to the bed. So it did not cool the room down. We were on the second floor and had a view of the park. We got moved the next day and our room was on the first floor and no view of the park.
We just checked out , no complaints here , we also got a room upgrade, just like you said you stayed at worst places same here, definitely will go back there to stay
So when you return to Disneyland, will you make it a point to stay at another hotel so you can compare it?

Where you able to see any fireworks from the hotel?
Park vue inn or here? For my stay it would be 40/50 dollars more at Park Vue Inn
We have never stayed at park vue inn so I’m not sure! People did recommend this hotel and park vue inn to us so I think either would be fine!

What transportation to the airport are available?
There is no formal transportation. It’ll have to be an Uber or Lyft or taxi unless you rent a car.

Whatever you do do not stay at Best Western Inn on Ball I applied for a job there and they tried to get me to work for them for free this is what our world is coming to it’s crazy. Also the pull is empty, takes about 25 to 40 min to get to Disneyland and have construction going on.
Wow the Anaheim hotel is nice I’m shocked I love it. Alpine Inn in Anaheim looks really nice to!
Anyways it was just a suggestion not to stay at that hotel

What did u use to purchase merch /food etc. (credit card or the app)? I’m so use to DWD and the magic bands-therefore just a little lost here
