You guys described everything perfectly! I’m a Floridian and have been going to WDW since I was a baby and finally went to Disneyland in 2019 and I LOVED it! I was super emotional walking in knowing it’s where the magic started. To me WDW feels like home, but Disneyland felt so special. It was cool being in a park that felt familiar but not at the same time lol. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 🥰

YES to the rides feel like they are in HD. As does the landscaping. I went with a friend recently who had never been and she said almost the exact same thing - everything just seemed brighter and just a tad more, somehow. Great video!

Thank you so much for this video! Disneyland is my home park and I love it! I loved Disney World too! It was awesome to hear a reaction to Disneyland from WDW addicts that felt positive! I have watched a lot of WDW and Disneyland vlogger videos and often people that frequent WDW and don’t go to Disneyland much put Disneyland down I feel. Thanks for looking for the positive and being open to its magic! There is room enough in our hearts to hold love for both parks. One thing I found surprising at WDW was wait times. I feel that WDW has more parks and that’s cool, but those parks have far less rides than the California parks so you can experience much more rides in a day at DLR. In WDW they have less rides in each park so you end up waiting much longer in say AK because a huge percent of people in the park are in three places only Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest and the Safari. I just feel DLR accommodates the guest more efficiently because it is so compact and there are more rides for guests to spread out to ride. That being said I so want to go back to WDW asap to try out the Ratatouille ride, cosmic rewind and Tron when it opens!!!! I want to go there for like a week instead of 4 days! Disneyland is much easier to do in a shorter visit I’m just saying, but there is so much to experience in WDW! Thanks again for being complementary instead of elitist like some. I appreciate it honestly. I just subscribed because I loved your positive vibes. This was the first time watching one of your videos. I loved it!

I just found their videos for the 1st time & completely agree with you! I've been watching a lot of videos recently from WDW vloggers going to Disneyland for the 1st time & I swear they're gritting their teeth anytime they say something nice about it. You can love both, but I just watched one where they said Pirates & Space Mountain were better at WDW & The Small World is exactly the same, & I was like, what?? This girl looked mad when her hubby would ask what she thought of something. Every other sentence was "xyz is waaayy better at Disney World." Needless to say, these 2 have my respect & have gained a new viewer. ❤😊

Disneyland is not only a park but also a museum. It just feels authentic and rich in history. It’s hard to put a finger on why it feels that way. The scale of Disneyland is smaller so it feels quaint and familiar. Magic Kingdom is big and grand so it’s impressive but also impersonal.
I believe all people who consider themselves a Disney fan need to eventually pay homage to Disneyland. It’s every Disney fan’s Mecca.

Omg! This video came at the perfect time. I’m trying to decide which park to go to next year and I have enjoyed watching your past videos, so looking forward to hearing what you have to say. I’m leaning more toward Disneyland but let’s see if my mind changes after this video. Okay…gonna watch now. Lol
EDIT: Thanks so much for this video! It was super helpful in helping me decide. I think Disneyland is the better choice for me at this time.

Avengers campus is opening this summer in DLP. I will be a pass holder for the first time this summer in DLP as I now live in Spain but I still want to return sometime over the next year to my home/childhood park in Disneyland to my home state of California. DLP tower of terror has not been changed but rock and rollercoaster has been changed to an Ironman ride. Disneyland is where my heart will always be but I can appreciate a copycat like WDW or DLP for the fun and nostalgia.

Great video you guys!! I remember seeing the excitement and happiness in your faces while you were there. Just my opinion.... you should do a 5 day trip to Disneyland. You can get so much done, and maybe even discover new things! We love our yearly 5 day trip and never get tired of it. Because we sometimes like to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere, the people, the music, and just taking it all in, having those 5 days gives you time to do just that! 🙂 HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, LEFFERSONS!!

We didn’t do Walk in Walt’s Footsteps but I highly recommend a little bit of a bucket list weekend and booking the Southern California Escape through ABD (as long as they are offering everything because of COVID). I feel like Garrett would love all the behind the scenes stuff. We did it in the fall of 2018 and it’s one of our favorite trips EVER! Being able to go Behind the Scenes and into Imagineering (yes we did this and I want to have an office near the monorail hallway!) was absolutely unforgettable.

Walt built DL to re-create happy memories and emersh you in an experience and Roy built Disney World to capitalize on the commercial side of Disneys tv and film magic. Even Disneyland and DCA are different. DCA would fit right into WDW.
