My mom and I stayed here for her first visit to Disneyland in October 2023. I chose it for its proximity to the park entrance and having to walk. If you’re a Marriott person and love the plush beds and comforts of Courtyards or AC Hotels then this won’t be your cup of tea. It’s decent and on the low end of Marriott properties. If you drove you pretty much have to do valet because of limited parking. Valet will try to take your bags to your room, you’ll need to tip them as they do a lot of work getting your bags up there. Theme park views are extra. The room doors tend to slam so you hear people leaving their rooms and also walking by your window if they are loud. There is a Mimi’s Cafe, Panera Bread, and McDonald’s nearby. In the end we tend to stay in higher tier Marriott properties like the JW or AC Hotels, so we would pick the Courtyard next door on our next visit. Considering the walk you do from the main road all the way to the Fairfield, the walk is identical to walking from Courtyard to the park entrance.

Thank you for the tour we are going to be going for the first time in June. Nervous about the 5 1/2 hour flight. We rented a car and made reservations through the Disneyland app. I didn’t see any mention of paying for parking in our package is that included or an additional cost when we get to the hotel? Watching your packing next so I can know the must!!!
Looking forward to these vlogs! My family has been to disneyworld 10 times and we are planning our first disneyland vacation for next august! Im wondering how far of a walk it is to disneyland?

I’ve never been to Disneyland (or even California) so I’m not sure if this should be a concern - but do you think this location would be safe for a solo female traveler to walk back and forth to the parks?

I love Fairfield! We always stay there when we go to Disneyland. I’m 5’10” and loved that shower! It had a wide spray with excellent water pressure!

Yes it was safe! There is literally ALWAYS people around so you’re never really walking alone when taking this path!
