I’ve been a professional player on and off for 5 years. I paused the video at points where you were about to give advice to come up with the perfect sequence to see if we would align. Almost every single time, we did. Your advice helped me articulate this concept and understand the reasoning behind the correct plays. This is good content and the difference between a casual and professional player. This concept right here.
Thank you for making this video, sequencing in general makes me TICK, deciding what to do in order to favor a win is what makes me love the card game. I used this deck yesterday and won third place in a tournament, but there are times where I bricked (and my opponent bricked too), but I did manage to win. This video gives me more insight how the deck works and how to sequence better
What are your thoughts on running 3 ancient energy capsule instead of 4? I run the same deck list but have been messing with 4 trekking shoes just to thin out a little more.
I don't hate the idea. We don't need 4 Capsule for the effect it provides. But by cutting an ancient card, we're lowering our damage cap and potentially making some KOs just not happen.
I need this content!!! Please make a video about lost zone giratina or chien pao . Those are my deck choices irl besides charizard but that’s not as hard to play .
Hey, quick bit of feedback. I think it would be great for at least this video if you exported in a vertical format as it’s quite hard to to see on a phone (at least for me) and the image of you takes up way more space than the gameplay, which should be the other way around IMO. Great content though otherwise!
Thanks for the suggestion. I wasn't completely sure how to handle getting the video in phone format from my student, but I like your suggestion. I'll make a vertical format version of this one when I finish editing my next deck profile (in the next day or two).

"Thinning is winning" is probably the best saying I have learned from my locals.
Agreed, but in this case, it seems like it's tough for a lot of folks to understand how to fully apply that concept.
Well spoken and great tips. Keep up the great content!
Great video. You don't normally see this kind of stuff. And its perfect because im building this deck next
Glad you found it helpful!

You're welcome! I'm glad you have found it helpful.
Love to hear the thought process on game actions. This would be a great series
I may explore that idea down the line. Thanks for the support and the suggestion!
Great step by step walkthrough! There’s so many little optimizations to make when playing, so this is a great resource!
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you found this helpful.
You earn a new sub. Really great content here. Keep up the good work man!
Thanks for the support! I'll have another one out in a day or two.
So useful, do more with this decklist! ❤
Will do!
OMG More videos like this! So fantastic!
Thanks for the kind words! I'm working on putting more like this together.

Very helpful.
Cool vid! Thanks for the shoutout!
Absolutely! Thanks for checking it out! Are you Mark or do you know him? It was great to see the deck kick butt at EUIC!
@@HoopaHideoutI talked to him after EUIC and he's a cool guy. I also made the list that made top 16 and gave it to Andrés.
@@Freewer30 Very cool!
List?
It's in the description, just like I said in the video.
