I "store" my extra headphones on eBay.
I use a pegboard from Ikea drilled onto my wall. Keeps the headphones and wires off my table and displays my headphones pretty neatly. Definitely a better alternative to conventional headphone stands
Headphone wall isn't suitable for people who prefers minimalist design, Josh's videos are all always in a clean location so having a headphone wall is a no no.
If you have just lots of space, like zeos and putting them on shelves with their own stands is just luxury.
When you think about the cost of "all" of the headphones one has collected. The small cost of the tool box option is totally worth it as far as function and fit. I went the route of buying all of my headphones Pelican cases - labeling them and the stacking them up. Great recommendation and hope you get to feeling better soon!
lol, I’m a minute into the video and already fell in love with the way you store your headphones. Very cool idea using a toolbench considering you like motorcycles and all that stuff around it. Very clean, very slick, very expensive XD
I keep my Arya on their stand with a dust cover. Every other headphone is in a hardcase or in a box either in a closet or a shelf.

I wish more videos about audio organization were out there. There also is like no products made for specifically headphone storage outside of headphone stands and hooks.
Ive been using the husky boxes for awhile now. Love them!
I use my mother's old, wooden sewing chest of drawers. Five drawers of various sizes, DAC and amp fit nicely on top. Doesn't look like a garage tool box. Great for a normal amount of listening stuff.

Similar to what I do, but with Alex drawers and foam cutouts for the earpads. Then only use a stand for the pair I currently use.

I use these black wall hangers from ikea. They work great and I just coil the cable around them
Interesting idea. I think I like the cabinet idea more for my room, but it would be cool if there was a high quality cabinet that has glass in the front to see the headphones and some ambient lighting built in that could display the headphones nicely. All I found for this so far was cheap Amazon stuff

I wanted to do the same lol but ultimately those chests dont fit in my room so i decided to use my woodworking skills to make something that did with a similar aesthetic lol, paint the bottom portion black, left the top natural.

I think i may have the cheapest storage systen possible for my headphones. All my headphones hang from screws on my wall :)
Works great, never had a headphone fall off and the screws also don't damage the headphones. The thread seems to help keep the headphones from sliding off the screws.

on a different note, once I've settled into a more permanent place I'm really looking forward to designing some sort of display cabinet, where each gets a little 'home' and window, something vaguely Bauhaus and subduedly backlit.

I'm returning to the hobby again and want to know if the Mod House Argon Mk3 is still a good "fun" headphone to pair with the HD6xx. If not, I'm mainly looking for headphones with excellent bass response and a wider soundstage around the $200-$350 price range. Thanks for everyone's help over the years with my audio tism!
Best option I found for storing headphones is V-MOTA TDD case, it large enough for any headphone and can be then put on shelf or in closet...I have like 10 of them :)
I use a plastic 3 drawer cabinet on wheels. Works well for cheap but doesn't look as nice so I keep it in a closet near my PC desk.

That's not really good for camera, especially lenses. It's better to put them in a dry cabinet, even better with hygrometer and electronic humidity control in order to prevent fungus growing on the lenses
Nah, just shove your headphones on a little bookshelf speaker and be done with it! That's where my main set lives, my IEMs and true wireless live in my bedside cabinet with the rest of my daily carry stuff, the rest of the little odds and sods live in a draw.

Hi joshua....im a regular follower of ur channel and when wavetheeory disses on great topping amps like the a90d and the a70pro...it kinda hurts me... nobody should be doing negative publicity of a brand but can give thir opinions......i hate to watch another wavetheory review coz im fed up with his biases and negative publicity of topping...kindly do something about this if you can...and i respect Dms too....both of should give an appropriate answer to wavetheory's dumb reviews.....he actually sais taht he hated the empy 2....which you and dms consider one of the best hifi cans ever...its really confusing for us when this happens.
