- aarf! i'm paxton. i've been super busy lately teaching humans how to give me yummy treats and say "good boy!"
so far, i've trained them to treat me with sit, shake, other paw, high-five, turn, puppy-push-ups, and go around. roll-over is still a work-in-progress.
i'm much better at most of these commands, but the humans like to video the tricks when i first learn how to do them. a-hem, i mean when they first learn to treat me doing them.

Enjoy your little Yorkie. We just put ours down after almost 16 years who looked exactly like yours. I searched Yorkies in TH-cam until I found one that looked similar to mine to remember . Love that little guy and hug him nonstop ❤️🥰

We taught ours to high five, "sit pretty", speak, rollover, and we eventually got him to "play dead" and he sort of learned on his own how to smile when we would say "cheese" he would lift up his upper lip and 'cheese" at us, it was too cute.
I taught mine to deal cards, count them, and then cheat with them. Shes Canadian of course.

@emihernandez xx stop, it's illegal to cut 🐕 tails in the EU ..I have 6 dogs , 2 are Yorkies. All is wagging their tail no infection.
ive had a yorkie for 3 years and ofcourse we would never cut her tail off and there is no infection

Not bad. My yorkie, Lola, her best trick is a a back flip with a double somersault and triple axel rotation with a stationery soft landing!

What a sweet dog. Paxton looks a lot like my Rocco with the same coloring. Cherish every moment with him. My Rocco just passed away in January. A day after his birthday. He was a great companion and he is missed every day. I enjoy watching the Yorkie videos. They’re all so similar in behavior. Thanks for sharing your Yorkie.
My 15 year old Princess passed January 13, 2021. I miss her so much. She had the same coloring as Paxton but of course was prettier. My heart is broken. I miss sleeping with her and all her kisses and love. I am sorry for your loss and feel your pain :(

our Yorkie we just got few weeks ago Millie is 8 months old ..the 14 cat Buddy accepts her now..Millie is a treat so funny and smart.
Your not a good trainer. You are using your hand to turn him. He is not learning. My dogs are WAY better. I have a morkie and she can already flip jump. Im the best trainer ever for so yong

Such a cute 'Little Yorkie Ripper'. I am sure Paxton is not related to the real Yorkshire Ripper Little Yorkie Rippers would get mice and rats when in Scotland. Then the Little Rippers migrated with their families to Yorkshire. They are related to Westie's and others I miss my little ripper. He passed on last Nivember
aarf! yes, i'm a pointer. when there are mice or rats on our hikes i instinctively lift my front foot slightly off the ground and bend it up in a point.

i do not bark much. i taught my humans early to say "no barking paxton! and then give me a treat when i was a puppy". tbh, i do bark when i need to tell male human to throw my frisbee but only because he loves watching me fetch it again and again and again.

I can't get my Yorkie to pee outside but, if I tell him "go wake up mom" or some other difficult command that I've never taught him he knows exactly what to do. Go figure. 😂

What’s the best way to teach down? I have trouble with this one
You can try when your dog is already laying down say "good down" and treat. Then get your dog to get up and move around. When your dog eventually lays down again repeat. Then move on to "sit" "down" "sit"...

What a cute little sweetie and very clever. Yorkies are easy to train, could watch them all day doing tricks and commands. Training n teaching all types and breeds are easy to watch for a long time, just love watching them and some of the things they do are hilarious. Acting crazy, so funny!!
I'm gonna get one and train it to be a soccer ball....it's easy. Just kick it around the house !
