Only just watched this video. Fair play to ya for opening up about this. The first and hardest step is admitting it to yourself, and only then can you move forward.
I’ve been suffering with anxiety due to other health issues and other personal reasons for the past few years, and only really admitted it last year and asked for help.
Keep up with what you’re doing regarding your personal health, and I’ll look forward to any content that you put out as and when you feel up to it. 👍🏼

I have a very addictive personality. Going from one goal to the next, from one hobby to the next. It's who I am and I make no apologies. But it is important to stay away from the negative addictions you spoke of. Hobbies are perfectly fine! It's better than sitting there watching mindless TV.

A real man can admit that ye has a problem, you’ve inspired me and I’m getting help for my mental health.
I know what you you are saying ,my wife calls it Project addiction, fishing, shooting ,kayaking, spearfishing, boats ,motorbikes ,photography, I've tried watercolor painting ,I had to have all the kit and the best of that kit ,had 2 breakdowns and was in that bad place in my late 20s ,I am 50+ and still fighting the demons ,but once you have hit rock bottom you then start to swim back up ,and suffering with dyslexica .you will get there, and like you say, "there are ppl out there to listen." I am 1 of Matts friends. The problem is you need to be doing something to stop thinking about things as it helps us ,I stopped a lot of the hobbies and started metal detecting as I love history, it's a great passed time and your out with nature and it clears your mind ,and I was luck as I found a Roman hoard and had a nice little pay out ,I don't do it for the money but it give a bonus now and then ,good luck in your journey, you can fight the demons dude

Takes real courage to put that video out there. Hope your recovery is going well. Ive only recently found your content as i am currently building my own pond thats getting more and more expensive as things progress. Trying to keep it sensible where possible.
I love watching you and your son work. It reminded me of me and my dad,
he taught me so much without me even realising it at the time. Gave me the skills to do what i can now, there isnt many jobs i dont feel confident in taking on thanks to him. He was a real pain in the arse at times but i miss him profoundly. I wish he was here to see what ive done to my house the in last 6 years hes not been here.

No need for an apology, its good to see you getting back on your feet. A lot of people have these problems and are too ashamed to ask for help, so a lot end up not getting help at all. You are very brave and we've got so much respect for you. Wish you the best for your recovery, focus on what you feel is most important. We will still be here to support you and your content as and when you are up for it. We know it will be a rollercoaster for you, but we all still support you no matter how long it takes, never forget that. Massive respect, keep fighting ❤

I've missed your videos and just thought that, like you said, you couldn't find regular content.
Remember, we're all behind you on here and will support you in whatever way we can. Having to wait a few weeks for a video or whatever, you need to put you and your family first.
I really love the idea of the "pond on a budget". Many people out here can't afford say a wonderful pond like the one you've already got. But you can show others how to do it on the tightest possible budget, giving them the positive viewing that they can do this too and enjoy this wonderful hobby.
You've always come across as a sharing guy, whatever pressures or "crutches" you've used to get yourself through the day. So that's deep rooted in you and we all know that if you can help us by learning from what you do, either a mistake, a workaround or an idea, you're happy to have helped.
