Looking back on my life I can also see that there were far more plan Bs played out than plan As. Had I simply lived my life as I saw it when I was four my life would be much worse than it is now. I wanted to be a movie producer when I saw Toy Story, but when I played Kingdom Hearts I wanted to make video games, but now that I see the benefit of avoiding debt and jumping into coding I now see that studying to be a software developer here is a much safer and more fulfilling route than going to a university for a video game career which may or may not feed my family. Video game creating is still really fun sounding, but even if it is still possible I'm grateful that I'm taking the humble switchbacks to get there, not the straight and exhausting climb to peak a second-rate mountain.
