I really like the condor a lot after playing with it for a while and moding the hell out of it. It is more sensitive to harmonics then most other rifles but its mostly a side effect of the power it makes. And for the most part it can all be handled by changing bipod location. Also it unregulated so the harmonics will change as the fill pressure changes. It shoots slugs well and makes more power then anything else in the same caliber. In .25 cal mine makes 100fpe easy and can max out at 130fpe with 65gn baot tail. So if need raw hunting power then there is no better choice in my opinion if you really want super tight groups then there are better target guns but you will probably pay a bit more. It's a great airgun for the price.
Awesome stuff man. I was like what happened to the video. I was about to re-watch it. Haha 😄 I need to test some of the cp slugs in .177 .22 and 25 cal. I need to find the right cp slugs for my air rifles for next spring. Haha time to destroy some Whistle Pigs.
Yeah I meesed up the edit on the first video so reloaded it lol. Next time I'll get the camera angles better on the gel block . The 2nd slug didn't show up that good on camera 😥 😂😂.
Yes it is. That is the stock .25 barrel that came in the rifle straight from pyramyd air. I also have a .22 cal barrel that is the stock barrel replacement. In the video I'm using the donnyfl adapter to mount my ronin and the extra extension. I do have custom barrels one is a .257 and the other is a test barrel in .22 that's still being made.
Yeah in this video I'm useing the stock lothar walther 24" barrel with the donnyfl adapter and a ronin with extension. I also use a shim under the tophat for more tuning control.
In this video I believe I had the .166 tophat installed with the tallon tunes shims that are .060" thick behind the tophat to help with valve be more efficient. I'm useing the stock hammer sping with the 95gm hammer from tallon tunes. With all that siad the hammer setting was around 5.5 to 6 I believe. That's kinda how I was setting it up for light slugs under 44gn. For Heavy slugs I use the .232 tophat.
@@griffinairgunammo7518 I have an Air Force Escape 25 Cal with 24 inch barrel I have it on this factory setting that it came which is 3-16. I don't know the top hat size but I am think it's one of the more powerful ones I'm just starting to do crony testing I have your slugs and others and I'm just trying to get a rough jest of what other people's settings are. thank you for all the information what slugs do you recommend for mine as it's set up now and right now mine seems to be the most consistent between 2200 PSI and 1500 PSI on that power setting with 33 grain jsbs is what it's showing on my shot strings
If that doesnt help at all let me know what wheight ammo and what speed your looking for I can tell you how I set mine up to get those results. My condor is constantly changing from .257 .250 and .22 so I'm always retuning for different ammo.
@@gumbystown ok cool so stock I believe it's the lager .232 tophat that's what came on mine stock. I guess it depends on what you want to use the rifle for. Overall my favorite is 44gn lager hollow point cup base, in my opinion it was the best fit for the power and firing cycle for the rifle. I was able to get around 15 to 20 shots with a tight extreme spread and plenty of power. You also shoot lighter slugs down to around 36gn and get a better shoot count but I noticed a dramatic bell curve if I filled to 3000 psi. If you want to shoot lighter slugs I highly recommend getting the Spin-Lock valve kit by Airforce. That will make tuning for light slugs much easier and also increase shot count quite a bit. This will also make the shot sting much flatter with a lowwer extreme spead. If you need over 100 fpe then a 50-60gn boat tail does really good. 44gn cup base from 75- 95 fpe and 38-36gn cup base from 55 to 75 fpe In general. For me the the sweet spot was the 44gn when it was totally stock. I found with th hammer around 7-10 on a 2800 psi fill gave me great results
Love my .177 Hollow base.. Testing.22 now. Glad the video came back ☝. Great work guyz!!💯👍🔫
Thanks I'm glad your digging the slugs. Yeah I had to finish editing the first one got ahead of myself 😂.
New to your videos, great tech info. Love Condors too.
I got a condor ss in 25 and a talon p in 25 both are Awsome guns 🎯🎯
I love my condor. They are great rifles. The 44gn cup base large hollow points are the slug for the .25 cal. They shoot like a lazer.
I own both too!
I just ordered 400 .25 48 grain for my SS condor seems it likes 930-890 fps. I just put 15 in a hole the size of a penny @ 25 yards making 92-84 FPE 💪
7 shots and the poi changed? I was thinking on the condor in 25 cal. Now I’m not so sure. Nice presentation. Good job.

Como puede llegar a esas velovidades y con ese peso.
💪
👍 best .30 slugs on the market.
Word up brother
New to your channel, question? What caliber condor can shoot accurate at 100 yards with slugs?

Bro that intro is fuckin sick 🎯

Esposible tener 998 fps. Y con ese peso
