I have a 1947 Ford v8 and I am in the process of putting the Mallory ignition in my car, it’s the same except is a two bolt on distributor.

Cool, that looks like a pretty simple install - thanks for making the video! I'll be doing the 6-12V upgrade, parts only arrived today but, there is still a few more videos to watch and the manuals to read! Cheers.

Just installed one on my 39 standard. Does the oil filter return line on your 39 go to the oil pan or one of the distributor hold down bolts (banjo fitting) ?
