What if instead of metawatch it was called Deathwatch and instead of getting meta they fixed Deathwatch
I like how he danced around the custodes codex there. Mentioned orks and tau and folks having fun, no mention of Custodes. Smooth, real smooth

This was an odd metawatch. Didn't talk au all about how things planned with the MFM. Didn't talk about deathwatch. I'm failing to see what the point of this specific one was other than to advertise the next us event.
As a player in love with Admech I'm sad with the current state of the faction.I hope they really make radical changes.
I agree I’d love them to get a boost but they built their schtick around canticles and protocols and it’s just not working.

I do wish the admech update wouldn't take another 3 months but that is where I will keep my expectations. I still adore the faction. I know in the last meta watch they stated " we dont want ad mech to be a horde army" but that is where they are right now. The number of models per list is almost asta milatrium levels.. aka a horde army. Except guard have less hoops to go through to have their mechanics work as intended. I do hope the changes are a bit sweeping so I can be more excited to play one of my favorite factions.
As a additional point.. this meta watch kind of talk about what they expect the meta data will start to reflect. But. .didnt address long standing problems ( like death watch) I suspect alot of information is being kept hush hush for reveals.
My DW are looking great on the shelf.

Seriously, we need a clean refresh of our rules. Change ICTF detachment rule to the -1 to wound from greater strength.
Give every codex to them. Look at the Custodes and T’au they have nothing.

please please tell me you guys are giving stealth suits the battleline keyword in the retaliation cadre detachment with the new mission pack looking like it being very battleline focused?
Idk if GW reads this but just some feedback and wishes for some balance changes. As a Tyranid and Necron player, these are things that would really help these factions. I really don´t think ppl would mind putting stickers or writing over datasheets in order to get missing tweaks for it.
Necrons:
*Annihilation Legion* detachement rules needs a change to something both melee and range destroyers benefit from.
Necron Warriors Points cut and Overlord res orbs would do D6+3 for the once per game RP step.
*Obeisance Phalanx* Adding the appropriate keywords to Immotekh, The Silent King etc. This one is a real head scratcher for me.
Tyranids:
*Crusher Stampede* Again the detachement rule is very weak and can be exploided by your opponent very easily. Something like monster get -1 dmg, +2 Strength for melee weapons when they have charged would be way better.
Speaking of missing strength, certain datasheets should get changed for adding S to certain weapons. Things like Heavy Vanom Cannons for Carnifexes, Hive tyrant and co could really use that, the Swarmlords blades should be at least S10 for what the boy costs, if not even 11. I wouldn´t mind loosing the twin linked for it, Maleceptor Strike profil S11, Norn Emissarys Scything talsons too S11. Awesome model but does nothing except score IF it reaches the selected objective.
Hive Guard need an extra AP.
And one of my favorite models visually, is the Biovore. Its an auto include unit, mainly for its amazing scoring capabilities. I´d like to see them get changed in a way that they could compete with Zoanthropes when it comes to killiness. But the dev wounds/indirect keywords mess the balance up. A suggestion would be to delete the dev wound keyword and instead add anti vihicle 4+ and 1 AP. That way the D3 shots hitting on 3´s, wounding on 4´s would still be very swingy, however the Biovore would have an edge over something the Zoanthropes can´t do. Further down the line, if that isn´t enough for ppl to concider them as an anti tank option, you could increase the dmg to 3 instead of 2. This model is simply too beautiful to sit behind a ruin on my home objectives and shoot spores into corners.
10th edition is all about movement and tanks. And Tyranids suffer badly form missing Strangh. These few tweaks would change the playingfield drastically and give Tyranids a bit of extra dmg against vihicles that they need, even as a horde army.
Or simply put, it isn´t exactly a thrilling experience to play an army that has to try so hard to score early on, before everything gets shot off the board.

You really did not present anything about the state of the game, its more unbalanced now with nothing to hold Orks in check, Custodes used to hold a lot of armies in check and now Necrons, Space Wolves, Grey Knights, Black Templars, GSC and Even Daemons are reporting above a 55% winrate right now. Yeeeeesh.

I hate the fact that every unit in the game is worth so few points. It's such a bad scheme to get people to have to buy more models. Happened to my Drukhari and my Necrons and now my Orks too. I had 2000 points in each army and now I don't. 🤷♂️

Deathwatch shouldn't be a stand alone codex, they should just be allies
