Yeah, man! Mad as a box of frogs! I'm on my second one. I had an '08 that I sold for a Monster 1100S. A fun machine no doubt, but it lacked my Hyper's fun factor. I searched for a few years, and finally found my current one - a 2009 S model. So nice, I bought it twice!

Great video Simon. Those roads are perfect for a hyper. I have just picked up an 1100S after having a non S from 08-16. Love these bikes! A future classic I think.

@@SIMONB1 2020 Triumph Bonneville T120 Black. In pieces in the garage is a 2008 MultiStrada 1100S. The Ducati and I went horizontal at about 35ish mph on a twisty mountain road. Simply cosmetic damage at first glance when I stood her back upright to ride home she had an engine knock. Planning to get a used engine for her and get her back on the road. Or sell the Bonneville and buy another 1100 Multi. Your how to videos are great by the way. Much appreciated. 👍

Hey up Dusan, yes they have vibrations but nothing abnormal, I have a abnormal vibration on mine at the weekend, chain side casing is cracked and leaking oil, battery isn't charging, haven't got the casing off yet, think the windings have come loose and grabbed on the flywheel and cracked the casing, will know when I take it to bits 😲, ride safe, Simon B 👍
Hello Simon, I'm in the market to pick one of these amazing bikes up. Is there any problems I should be on the lookout for? Obviously time/mileage since last belt change is a big one but any other common issues come up on the Hyper 1100?
Hey up stronglike, the belts are one of the main thing, easy to do yourself, there's a video of that in the collection, I've just had the stator shear off its fixings and crack the side casing, don't know if that's a fault, could if been caused by play in the crank, but non on mine, as long as someone has looked after it is a start, happy hunting, ride safe, Simon B 👍

I've test road one a few years back and the thrill certainly left a void that needs filling! It's DIFFERENT
