I've always wanted a hyper in my collection and have considered the 1100 evo sp. I'm thinking of going with the Hyper 950 because I'm speculating they handle better. I've been searching for someone to do a video tracking one of these and glad you've done it. How do these things handle? Any hard parts scraping or getting in the way? How does the front end feel? Sorry for the questions but shit man I've been looking for someone of your skill level to track this thing.
If you want alot of track day content , go see hypermotard King , he s on track most of the time and he buys everything possible for his 950 sp he is on his 3 rd or 4 th exhaust just cuzzz, and he tried it with off road rubber , all the blings and bliblings loll
It's handles a lot like a sport bike. It will remind you far less of a nimble dirt machine and far more like a street bike. With that being said I liked the bike but it definitely had a lot of limiting factors. The pegs would need to be raised as I scrape them on every corner, the front end felt solid no complaints there!
@IamCarsonn that is really good to know that it feels more like a sport bike. I will say I'm more familiar with supermoto kart track days than I am with sportbike track days but I feel the Hyper is a good compromise. I know Woodcraft makes rearsets too. Seems like top speed is lacking but you're on Streets of Willow which is a tight track anyway. Hmm I might just have to buy one and try it out for a year and see how it is. Thanks for the input!

The old hypers are the shit dude. So much fun when get used to how they ride. New rearsets are a must though 🤘
You need to shift sooner & 1 more tooth on the countershaft......better yet ride it on a tighter track
