@@AutoFixGuru of course you did. 1. open oil cup 2. drain oil 3. remove filter 4. instal filter 5. make sure old oil drained and plug oil pan 6. put new oil 7. close oil cup.

Can you tell me if after an oil change should the oil be black I had a service and checked the oil after I got the car back and it was dark black
hi , if you had an oil change and you received it dark black , i would question the garage for that . It is not supposed to be that way . Good luck

You haven't replaced the small O-ring, the one on the central rod inside the filter housing is very difficult to change but should be replaced too.
