- Our yachts are not only built for high latitudes, but also feel equally at home in the tropics. A good climate onboard is ensured thanks to the many deck hatches and windows that constantly provide pleasant ventilation. Effective insulation in the deck and deck saloon ensures that the heat stays outside. Of course, we can also install air conditioning - but in most cases this is not necessary.

Finally new Sirius video :) . Could you please add more videos specially with different options like hard dogger, Bimini , different main sail sheets mounting locations etc. also are any plans for bigger/ beamer boat in the future (Sirius 45 or 43). Sirius and Ovni are my favorite boats so far with very practical design.

They are expensive. They are relatively rare. But they are the best family cruisers ever designed. They are just awesome in every way.
Compered to what is delivered with them they are not expensive… and they are so short that it is extremely inexpensive to stay in Greece or elsewhere, Moorings, Marinas everything comes cheap with a Sirius compared to a Catamaran or a 50 to 52 and the useable space and the functions are heads up to a Bavaria 50C owners edition… Plus the Sirius maneuver like a RC car from my childhood when having to anchor in a crowded harbour in Greece you can do this chilled and relaxed when the bow of the 50s next to you are hit from an idiot your Sirius stays untouched and you can still enjoy your fresh greek sheeps joghurts with freshly picked apricots, almonds and greek thyme honey and this while cooking your greek mocca.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, in terms of build quality, you have to compare a Sirius with a Hallberg Rassey, a Najad or a Danish Nordship. In this range, the Sirius is actually very, very cheap because of her extremely detailed and nerdy special interior and because of the somewhat clumsy German and therefore not so elegant Scandinavian design. You simply can't compare a Sirius with a Bavaria, Hanse, Elan, Dafour or Moody - it will always be better. And the Sirius is not an X-yacht, it is not a performance long distance runner and in choppy water it floats like a cork, but it makes up for it with practicality and an enormous feeling of safety. If you are in the market to buy a yacht and a KM-Yachtbuilders or an aluminum Breckemeyer is too expensive, you should definitely take a look at the Sirius! And yes, the market would indeed be ripe for an aluminum deck saloon yacht that combines the virtues of a Sirius.

Thank you for another Sirius video. Love your boats! They are so beautifully and efficiently designed. Can you make a video about the construction of the mast? Having never been lucky enough to be on a Sirius, it’s hard to tell from all your great videos where the mast is located on the inside of the boat. Would also love to see more of the electric 40 DS. That’s my dream boat! ⛵️
I am pretty sure the mast is stepped on the deck and there is a compression post (possibly hidden) that transfers the load down to the keel. In the video you can see the mast step through the forward saloon window and I think the compression post would be just below the step on the port side? I hope Torsten will provide a better response to your question!
The mast is indeed deck stepped with a compression post underneath. We will try and shed some light on that topic in the future. Do you follow us at Instagram? The requested video about our electric Sirius will be coming up within the next weeks

When are you going to announce a 45DS? If that central cabin was mirrored to the starboard side....wow! I would then maybe sway away from the Moody 45DS. But it would need a flush deck to truly compete
I'd have to have some serious bug-screens for my sailing area - are they an option from the yard?
Of course we can offer bug-screens for the hatches, the windows in the deck saloon and the companionway

Yes, I am sorry. A week on my own on board tuned the outside world (and my voice) peacefully down. Thought the background couldn’t be more quiet, but the lovely sounds of wind and water were more prominent on the video than in me enjoying them…
