As a professional groomer 👏Job well done! I would recommend you also follow up with a conditioner, as it helps put the good oils back into her skin and coat. Also, if you use a mixing bottle to dilute your shampoo/conditioner, you'll use less product and it will spread easier for you. I love that you are taking time for this great bonding experience with miss Stella. Keep up the great work!
I used to groom dogs. Agreed on the conditioner! She did very well. I use Mane & Tail!
I use a small clear ketchup bottle like you would find at a hotdog stand lol. Still mixes well

Holly! The deshedding Hempz dog shampoo is so good! It’s the only de-shedding shampoo I have used that I actually saw results! Smells great and gentle for pups!

Such a lot of work but she looks gorgeous! My wire is pretty good in the tub & I've taken to using a blow drier because it's hard to get her dry & she gets cold too! Not crazy about getting her nails done either!

Try using Skout's Honor Shampoo/Conditioner- so amazing- I've even used it for myself and is AMAZING
Depending on the season, I blow dry on low and brush out. (I did this with Yorkies). I am still researching the breeders here in the States

I've always left the nail trimming to the groomer but i think im going to have to start doing!! Hopefully tino ends up being as awesome as Stella!
It was rough in the beginning doing nails at home but she gets better and better every time! Tino would do great 🤍
@@HollyObee it’s really strange with my 2 it’s easier for me to do it then the groomer maybe it’s just a trust thing for mine they know I won’t hurt them just a theory lol

Furminator shampoo and conditioner! I swear by this stuff. I have 2 long haired dogs. One mixed breed(40lbs) and a 30 lb 1 yr old Border Collie. Also, the furminator tool is great for shedding
You can get Stella a finger tooth brush. You just slide it on your finger so it feels like you are sticking your finger in there mouth

Beautiful Doxie! I’m really wanting to add one to our fam. Do you recommend any breeders around you. There’s so many scams nowadays it’s harder to find good reputable breeders
Best shampoo in my experience is Cloud Star Buddy wash with conditioner and then after rinsing that their conditioner that makes their fur super duper soft and easy to comb and is soft on skin. I always wish they made that stuff for humans. Lol. I like the lavender variety.
Nice for you and pup, you are way younger and flexible compared to me.
Maybe the best time to do all this is around their nap times lol 😝 they will be too sleepy to care what ur doing to them.

Yes that's what I was wondering. My baby miniature dachshund is short haired and 9 weeks old. I'm thinking you don't give her a bath that much unless they get alot of dirt on the or they get into stinky outside. But as far as the teeth and nails I don't know. Good questions.❤️
Does Stella have a lot of shedding? Because I have read they do, but people I know tell me theirs actually have little to no shedding.

If you get a short haired dog, they hardly shed at all.
My smooth hair daschund bleeds when i tried cutting her nails through clippers and it scares me , please tell me what to do
Hi, if they’re bleeding it means that you’re cutting way too deep in the nail. Maybe try the file the Holly is using in this video or go to the vet
Idk if this will help. I always let Zero have a tiny lick of the toothpaste before I brush his teeth. He’ll let me do a total of 30 seconds.
I bathe mine in the kitchen sink. They are small enough.
