I Bring In $1.3 Million A Year As a Dog Grooming Artist
Artists should NEVER FORGET how much art contributes to human happiness. It's so easy for them to feel that what they do is unimportant - but imagine the dreariness of a world completely devoid of all forms of art...
Also art is a form of self care which the world needs now.
@@SchoolOfUnlearning3 So very true.
Thank you for this
@@breblizz4321 🙂
Thank you for this.
I wonder what the dogs think of themselves when they look in the mirror
They're saying I have my owners. And are thinking of escape plan.
"who's the tiger!?!?"
Dogs don’t recognize themselves in mirrors just generally!
@@carrielee1624 especially after make over :))))
They think oh my other twin!!
This guy deserves every cent of his art work. When he gets to open his LA branch his biz is gonna explode
What a complete waste of money and suffering for dogs …pink dye …geez
I knew his salon had to be located in California. Only in California could you make a regular career out of painting punk rock dogs.
HE DOPE FOR REAL.🤑
@@evelynzlon9492why sell cheap stuff to poor people when you can sell expensive stuff to rich people
@@belart7057oh no. The dog's hair got dyed. It must be suffering.. same feeling as getting burned alive type of suffering. Oh God no please.. the horror.. ❄️❄️❄️
He's amazing! Even after all of the hardship he endured as a child he still managed to persevere and become a successful business owner who brings happiness into other people's lives and created jobs for others who also have a passion for grooming dogs.
He's on TikTok too!
@@boohere2 It touched my heart when he said how loving and kind dogs are.
This is a good example for all the whiners
It’s like a pup salon, spa, and tattoo parlor all rolled into one! Going for and living the American dream! Huge kudos! 😊💕
It's so fantastic to see a person be able to break the cycle of poverty & addiction such as what he grew up around as a kid. Very happy this man was able to bring his vision for his business to life. I can say 150K a year is a fairly humble salary he pays himself with him living in San Diego. It's a very expensive part of Cali to live in but so beautiful. Smart not being too far from people that are wealthy enough to afford the more expensive grooming. He'll really be bringing in more $ if he opens that 2nd location. It's where the $$$ is at.
This is such a great story about a kid who needed an escape from the difficult realities of his family life, and blossomed. All kids should have opportunities to escape and explore. Society doesn't do that for kids, and we should. It should be our number 1 priority.
Videos like these never specify upfront if the 1.3 million is the revenue or net income. You have to watch the whole video to know. So his dog grooming business brought in a total revenue of 1.3 million dollar of which he has to pay taxes, rent, workers, products he uses etc etc. His actual income is a salary of 150k which he paid himself. The rest like mentioned before goes back into the business and to paying taxes, rent, workers, products etc.
Whenever it says "brings in" it's revenue
Okay. You done?
It’s revenue...
1.3 million in revenue is actually a huge sum for a dog grooming saloon
The money he has taken out from all the business is 150k, but, that doesn’t mean the saloon only has a net profit of 150k, business owners who are looking to grow their business will always leave maybe half of the profit to be kept within the business
I mean, it's simple logic. Let's say 1.3 million was indeed net income, then there must be the bigger number of total revenue, say, $4.6 million. So why not just title the video with "4.6 million" to attract more viewers? Because 1.3 million is already the highest number they could use for the title, which is total revenue.
Duhhhhh. That’s what his business makes. The title says what he brings in
This man is super talented and he deserves every cent he's making.
It surprises me how many people dont knoe that the dye he is using is pet friendly so its safe for dogs. Also i dont see this as animal abuse the dogs seem happy at the end. Non of the dogs seem worried, scared, frighten or any of that
I get my dog done by him hes a real sweetheart and artist. Always warm good energy from him.
I love seeing the tenacity that Gabriel exhibits; dog grooming has been a craft that he has loved for awhile, and with some courage and a leap of faith, he is not only a profitable business owner, but delivering a product that brings so much joy and creativity to the world.
He's on TikTok. ☺️
He definitely seems to have that calm and loving persona that would work well with animals and humans.
I think his skill is absolutely impressive but I don’t think I will ever put my furbabies through this process.
If you have an adult dog and haven't EVER put your dog through a professional grooming before, yeah DOUBTFUL your ungroomed dog would be able2 tolerate show lvl grooming.
Iused2 do show grooming and those dogs have been being groomed this was since they were puppies and they have been trained since they were puppies.
You also cant FORCE dogs to show...they either love it or dont. Either way they are used2 this....
You're just chicken.
stay under jewish iŋfʟuence, saying you have furbabies
@@DurgaUsagi Yes for professional show dogs I can understand. I do groom my dogs, normal grooming that already takes at least an hour.
@@maniacram Oops, sorry to offend you. I’m happy to listen to a different viewpoint, please just be polite. Thank you 🙏🏻
He seems so humble and sincere. I'm happy for him and hope all of his success continues.
He is making families soo much happier with his art.. And that's called : creativity , dedication and Love.
while in a world where people creates guns , killers virus , violences this guy just creates much love ..keep up your Amazing work bro!👊
The owner: OMG he’s gonna look so cute
The dog: 🤡
😂😂😂😂
hahaha
He's the kind of human you really want to make it big ❤. What a beautiful soul. Much love and light
I enjoy what you do. I watch dogsbylogan all the time and I really enjoy watching the dogs transform!
I love hearing when someone uses the money from Covid for a small business’s! You are amazing, and your employees are happy is important to you! This is what America is about, not overpriced grocery stores and unaffordable medical treatment.
This is such a heartwarming story. To see Gabriel’s journey following his passion, staying persistent, and finding a way to excel and create his own success is incredibly inspiring! Congrats Gabriel!! 🐩 🥂
$500-$1,200 is actually not that bad. It's all relative. Even the rent isn't that bad... relatively. It just depends where you live. Love following Gabriel on his own channel.
He’s really a great artist for this kind of work. The lion doodle, giraffe, leopard pug, all are fabulous, and he’s very gentle. The dogs love him, he’s a sweetheart. If the owners do this one time for a special occasion, even though I would never do that to my dog, I can see it, just once. But no one should be subjecting their pets to this kind of “grooming” on a regular basis. That would be a form of abuse.
they use vegan ink on the dogs btw...the ink is made of vegetables..nothing toxic.
Thanks for your comment 🙏
That was definitely a French Bulldog, not a pug.
What a testimony! Thanks for sharing. I’m about to embark on my grooming career. It all started after getting my F1B Goldendoodle, and when the groomer told me how much his “big boy” haircuts were going to cost. lol Five years later, I’m still his groomer. I definitely discovered a hidden passion with him. Working my way from the bottom up, pay wise, isn’t going to fun. But, I’m here for it. And… look at YOU!! 🎉🎉 It’s ALL about passion and doing what we LOVE to do. I’ve always loved animals. I actually wanted to be a Vet when I grew up. I worked in a shelter and when I cried during administering a vaccine to a kitten was when I was reminded of all of what being a Vet would entail. I would up being in the service industry, serving people. Now, I’ll be serving and loving on animals. 🥰🥰
Great story! I love seeing people love what they do in life.
2:09 Human: So his name is rusty, he's gonna be half leopard, half tiger.
Rusty: Wot??
That expression by Rusty was priceless.
😂
Good for him, but I hate that there's a demand for "designing" a dog's fur.
Couldn’t agree more
Some dogs absolutely love the process. Most modern dog breeds already have fur that was " designed" by humans. Very few dog breeds have an ancestral wolf coat.
This is dog safe dye. And humans have been "designing" dog breeds for centuries. Especially now with all the expensive Doodle mutts, that are crazy and neurotic.
I don’t fully understand. Could someone explain the point of unloading a couple hundred bucks just to dye a dog’s hair and make it look pretty? I think all dogs look great just the way they are…
It's completely disgusting doing this to animals. All they're doing is treating the animals as objects for their own amusement. It's really terrible
I completely agree. So unnecessary
dont complain. He is making money an apparently there is a need for what he is doing.
He said they all have a reason. 🤷♀️ There was a Pikachu dog at the hospital. Write your own story.
@@TheNomad8899 The only reason someone would want this done to their dog is so that they can get likes on social media and have people pay them attention. It's a sad sign of the times where people will use their pets for attention and treat them as if they're fashion accessories rather than animals who deserve more respect than this. The guy also says he wants to have his own TV show. Clearly, he has found what he believes will be his route to stardom. What saddens me more than anything is the justification and casual acceptance that this is seen as so normal to so many people.
I respect this guys work rather than certain TH-camrs
I love seeing how much delight and joy Gabriel's special dog creations bring to everyone who sees them. The man is literally bringing joy into the world. Gabriel, you're an artist and we need you. May blessings and fortune continue to fill your life.
Gabriel you inspire me! I've never seen anything like this before. My mind has melted, I had NO Idea that you could be such an amazing artist as a groomer. Bless you! You deserve everything in the world.
I am a dog lover, and seeing how much you put into people hearts by transforming their pets to other levels, is just amazing. God has blessed you with great talent. Keep reaching for the stars ⭐️🙏🏼❤️
NEVER tell people how much you make keep that to yourself. That is your personal business. Much continued success to you.
❤❤ The lion🥰 inspired! Beautiful beautiful living sculpture puppy lion. The dogs love him and the dogs are happy. I've never seen anything like this and I think he is a wonderful person who pursued his vision. Vision is what's needed! Congratulations Gabriel!
I like that the dogs look comfortable and wow the dye jobs are amazing!
i wouldn't necessarily want to transform my dog but his job is a form of art.
Thank you for the kindness and caring you have towards dogs. Every person, animal, and plant on the earth should be treated with love and respect. What a beautiful world you are helping to create!
I’ve never seen such amazing and boldly groomed dogs!! Literally kind blown right now. Great talent
I would watch a show about his business all day long!
That's such a great idea
The title is misleading. His business take in $1.3 million. The video shows several groomers (assuming $60k for each). Add taxes and he makes mid 6 figures.
Full respect for his hustle, but the title is misleading.
that's a lot of money.
$500 for a dog? People wonder why they broke. People don't even spend $500 on their own momma. smh.
God bless him & good for him. Praying his business goes up and up!
He really did make it and does an amazing job at what he does. When I seen him on pooch perfect I was in aww and what he was able to create. He is very talented and is going far In life. Good job Gabriel
He’s happy and the babies are happy! Everyone is loved and they know they look good! ❤❤❤
People can try and rationalise this all they want , say it doesn't hurt the dogs etc but it is completely wrong, they are not toys or accessories.
Wow this is genius! Bravo to him and the shop looks so perfect for his business!
Such a wonderful story. A boy from a poor family who can't see any future takes a tiny opportunity and
turns it into a fantastic dream. Is making himself and many people and pets happy. I think the dogs that stand still and allow him to clip and paint them are enjoying all the attention they are getting. If a dog were too upset to go along with this I'm sure they could not force it. The pet has to have patience and enjoy it too. There is someone that paints cats, too Great job. Gabriel and thanks for the video.
I would love it if you had your own show.
its nice to know theres dyes made specially for pets
NO. DO PAINT YOUR ANIMALS.
That is just wrong. They do not like it as much as the owners do.
How do you know
It's not your animal lol
What a genuine and humble man🙌🏻 huge respect❤
He is a TRUE ARTIST!! Absolute perfection ❤
Dogs are NOT people. It is disgusting to do this to an animal for your own ego or vanity.
Do you eat animals?
@@Charlie-tq9yb what does this have to do with the price of tea ?
i mean it's not really disgusting because it doesn't hurt them.
@@bluebellbeatnik4945 you will find that dog ingest it and the dyes are not tested for ingestion
It's for the dog's vanity. They like to be fashionable.
Giraffe dog....😍😁 Leopard frenchie....😘😊 Love the creativity 🫶🏽
Rent of $6,500 is outrageous!! He is so creative and talented shouldn’t have to pay such a stupid amount in rent.
WOW, so inspiring!! Cheers to Gabriel and his success!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
A true artist! Super talented!!
I struggle with the $40 every two weeks and $75 every 6 weeks. But, if I could Birdie would be prancing in royal blue to lavander
Love people who love and care for animals❤
he was on that dog show contest!!
I think the dogs like being pampered but this is really indulging the pet owner.
I love your passion Gabriel it’s beautiful and the animals and owners look so happy Ty for sharing your story 🥰
Initially i thought that dog was a doll when video came on my feed until i read the caption 🤣.... Wow thiis is so cool
It's literally art! He is so creative, absolutely talented, and has such an inviting personality! HOWEVER I don't think it's ethical to do this to fur babies no matter how non toxic the dyes are. It's like when parents MAKE their child wear certain things that THEY want not the child's choice. I like to think our pets are also living beings and not personal property hence "designing" them to my taste doesn't really seem like the best idea. However, once again kudos to a great artist and entrepreneur. Your journey is very touching :)
I mean it's a free country they can do whatever but It's seem little bit wrong doing this to a dog. Like the owners a treating the dogs as a toy. just my opinion.
It's illegal in many states, in the European Union as well, I think Brasil and other places too, vets don't recommend it either. Litterally an ego trip of the owners.
@@circejanuary I'm European and I see dyed dogs on the regularly. These dyes are safe and can be ingested.
@@charka9732 No they are not litteraly all vets and animal protection are telling owners not to do it. I don't know what Europe you are talking about but in the EU it is illegal and you can get your dog taken away as it is considered animal mutilation.
@@circejanuary Definition of mutilation according to the dictionary of the french academy: "Retrenchment, loss of a limb or some other part of the body." maybe actually learn what words mean instead of throwing them around just for the sake of adding an inflammatory word.
@@charka9732 dude I feel sorry for you, that's within the animal rights treaty in the european union. L'académie française peut bien se gratter, c'est pas le rapport avec le droit european.
Some people have more money than sense, but hey, I'm really glad it's making money for this very talented artist. Good for you lad 👍
Poor dogs. I hope they don't mind going through so much hassle just for the pleasure of their owners. This is labour intensive for the animal and the amount of stress they have to be feeling. I'm all for regular grooming but to turn a pet into a play thing is a stretch for me. To each their own.
Those fur babies really have so much patience to sit so still while being turned into a piece of art. I wonder if they're sad or happy with the end result of how they look 😅
Ele é brasileiro!! Parabéns, cara!!!
Think of how many animals and dogs they could rescue or help a family in need with spending that much money on grooming a dog 🐩
Actually he and his team do fundraisers for shelters and they groom shelter and rescue dogs too, for free.
I will never understand people who want "transformational" grooming. But I assume that's probably only around 5% of his clients. Most of his business is from regular grooming.
I love your work.
I have a suggestion: non-slippery floors for dogs in future salons. It hurts to see how dogs slide all the time, it's hard for them to walk like that.
Isnt damaging to the skin and fur of the dogs. Hair coloring for people even the most gentle is still itchy and stings the scalp and the skin.
my thoughts exactly
👎 to dog owners who do this to an animal. Do it to yourself, but leave your pet alone. 😡
He seems like a nice guy❤ good on you bro!
Happy for him making that money but I wonder how safe those dyes really are for the dogs.
Our own hair dyes have their own risks (hair dressers have a 20-30% increased chance of non hodkins lymphoma due to the chemicals).
Correct! No one has mentioned this in the comments
I loved watching him on the ABC show!🎉
It is so hard finding Grooming employees.I've been searching for months. One person ghosted me on her first day of work. One person quit half way thru a dog. Ughh
You deserve every bit of your success- sorry you live in Cali I know how hard it is to make a business there
Congratulations on your success, Gabriel!
He’s incredibly grounded. I wish him continued success 🤍
So adorable 🥰 especially because the dogs probably get so much more pets and love looking so ridiculously cute. All dogs should be loved.. but the cuteness overload is 🤯✨😂
Inspiring. I did not expect that much depth from a gog grooming video.
What a uniquely creative soul.
Super work congratulations dogs love you 🥰
That's just wrong. Dogs are ultra sensitive to smells. Can't imagine that stuff smells good. Plus, those chemicals can't be good for the dogs. Wrong. Very wrong.
Whatts dingus.
I work at a shop that uses it. No smell and we can/do literally eat it.
@@BridgetteLeeHarding You might not be able to smell it. But a dog can detect it with their incredible smell functions. That's why they are used as K9s to sniff out bad guys and stuff. C'mon you can't be serious not to think it affects the dog!
i wish all doggies were loved this way !
P.S. OMG ... He's here in San Diego ❤ !!!
They look so happy bouncing about so proud of themselves xxx❤
This is absolutely amazing and inspirational! x
The dogs do not look stressed, so that’s very good!! Fortunately dogs cannot recognize themselves in mirrors or pictures, so they can’t be like “What the heck did this guy do to my fur!?!?” either 😆 They’re just happy to be there
This truly is your gift.
OMG, I saw the picture of this before I put my glasses on. I thought he was a Plush Animal artist, i was like wow I buy one of those.
this is not animal care - this is one more example how insane this world has gotten, dye your own hair and body, these are living beings - listening to this guy saying “living sculptures” clearly shows the disrespect he has towards the dogs! what a disgrace
You all should narrate the things that just come up written on the screen . A lot of people listen to you tube while doing other things rather than watch it visually . That would be a big improvement .
Genius, he deserves every penny.👍🏼😘
Sorry but this does not sit well with me 😢
Awesome and Inspiring.
Incrível!!!!! 😊😊😊😊
Oh my gosh…. I wish you were here in Texas. I would LOVE to work with you doing this and where I live the people in my town would love this!! You would be a huge hit here!
