Awful video never use clippers on a long hair dachshunds coat it is not like a regular dogs fur it will grow back all weird. You should only ever trim them with scissors there are rare cases like with cushings where a animal cannot regulate its own body heat but in every other case clipping is not the way to go

This happened to my LH when she had to have a pain patch on her back for broken ribs. The hair grew back all weird & they did that to her tail too. Not as pretty as before

Longhaired Dachshunds should not be clipped or have their hair cut.the only hair you should remove is between their toes and under the pads. The beauty of the breed is in the coat which should resemble that of an Irish Setter !!!!!
