As always inspiring suggestions, I'm definitely getting the Grandma Quilted socks as they're absolutely gorgeous!!

Ah very sock inspired now, I really like designs by summer Lee as she has very cool socks. I think the weekend shorty could be a great sock for scraps

Thanks so much for this video, so many lovely scrapbusting patterns! I have a beautiful set of 50g plus 5 10g minis and I think the seeri pattern will be perfect for making sure I can use them all without running out of the minis

I kinda wanna knit all of these right now, they're so so cute!! Thanks for putting all of these together. I haven't tried many scrappy projects yet, but one that is high up on my list is the Stripey Turtle Tank by Emily Curtis / Gently Chaotic Knits. It's a tank top and not sock pattern, but I believe it's perfect for using up (larger) scraps of fingering weight / sock yarn.

Thank you lovely! I love your channel so much 🥰 I just looked up the pattern and it looks so cool! I love that shape in a tank :) Also when I googled ‘stripey turtle tank’ I got a lot of glass enclosures for actual turtles and that made me laugh haha 🐢

@@vintageknittingparty Oh thank you !! And haha , right, totally forgot that the primary meaning of those words is probably something completely different 😅

Now I really want to knit socks. Do you use 4 needles?

It's so addictive! Some people use 4 double pointed needles, but I've gotten used to using a 9 inch circular needle. They are a bit fiddly to begin with, but learning anything new takes some time :)

@@vintageknittingparty thank you, I might give that a try 😊
