Fun Fact: Kat wasn't supposed to cry when reciting the poem at the end, but the director thought that it was so perfect for the scene, that he kept it in! ♥️

I was not expecting to see A Cinderella Story on this list, but it sure was a pleasant surprise!! In my house, this movie was one of those that was loved until the disk wore out. It's full of great monologues like the one listed here and worth a rewatch!
Agreed, it's definitely a classic movie from my childhood, and one that I never get tired of watching!
It is probably my favorite Cinderella remake besides Ella Enchanted.

Some good stuff here. These monologues are what made the movie and the reason we love them. My favorite I believe is "Shut up. Just shut up. You had me at hello."
Matthew's "Funeral Blues" Monologue about his partner Gareth ALWAYS turns me into a sobbing wreck, and John Hannah performs it wonderfully. At least he eventually gets a happy ending, finding a new boyfriend after some time.
Down with Love seems the hardest for me, it was a 3 minute one shot! Underrated movie, I love the style.

A Cinderella Story ‘s monologue should be in the top 5. That is my favorite scene in the whole movie. 10 Things I Hate About You is perfectly ranked.

While I am happily shocked to see Diary of a Mad Black Woman and the Fantastic Kimberly Elise get her due,I cant believe my All Time Fav Rom Com monologue didnt even make the list or get an Honorable Mention: Joan Cusack in In and Out,her Wedding Monologue! I have it committed to memory and would do it when I was alone in the house as a Wannabe Actress teen! If a Top 20 list of this comes up,please be sure to include it,lol🤗

Mamma Mia is my favorite real Call of the Year grade characters for his acting skills grade musical rom-com of the year it's my one of my most favorite musical movies the year I love Mamma Mia.
