I was watching this you tube called Louisiana Fishing Blog a couple days ago He was out there and limited out and continued catch n release he put back 4- 20" specks.I thought that was a cool video as well as your videos.

Persistence paid off! They finally started biting around the Hopedale Lagoon area. You just have to stick, catch a few, then move to a new spot.

No he messed the hook only reason for the retie. I try and make a few trips with my same knot never really problems but that’s just me
Love Louisiana fishing. I go to Grand Isle every year. Your show is good but camera work is not very good. Need to show others on the boat catching fish as well. A camera mounted high showing a wide angle wood be great.
I’m still learning the videoing side of it. I’m thinking about running two cameras on a pole

95 percent of the fish were on the north side. We went to the other side but just caught a few over there

It does work but you have to spray down every 45 minutes. I personally don’t like the deet it makes me feel like it’s burning my skin the Victoria secret is just a little oily. I think skin so soft works better but it was in my boat at the time

Ive been watching youve videos as ive personally been perfecting my jigging skills, and having success in my technique, but im noticing in your videos things im not doing. Your keeping that finger on the line to feel when jig reach bottom after popping and to feel bites right? And this past week ive noticed ive been jigging way to fast... keep posting.
I know it looks like I’m feeling with my finger but I’m not. I have bad carpal tunnel in my wrist I can’t feel like I once could so I watch my line on some of the videos you can see my line jump as the fish hits. Jigging speed depends on what they want the day at the dam we had zero tide so I think they were just sitting down there watching because we slowed down it made them bite just because they just couldn’t resist. I’m glad you’re getting the jigging method some days I might try 5 different techniques to see what they want. I fished the wall yesterday couldn’t get bit jigging they wanted it different ways. I just haven’t had time to post in a few days I will put that video up.
What size hoop is that Frabil folding net? I have been looking at getting one but want to make sure I get one big enough for these bulls.

I’ve cleaned so many redfish over the years that I just don’t like them personally. Yes I’m strictly after trout and bass occasionally.
