- Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel! I launched out of Hopedale late on April 19th to catch a rising tide and prime sight fishing conditions but when I got there, it was cloudy and almost rainy.
No worries! By simply being aware of my surroundings and making small adjustments, I was able to hit my limit of redfish and catch an INSHORE SLAM.
Enjoy this video, there's not much prettier than the Louisiana marsh in the spring time.

Thanks for watching y'all! I have a goal of hitting 1000 subscribers by the end of the year. This will allow me to be monetized and focus on filming more videos in more areas. So if you like this content, please consider subscribing so I can make more of it. Thanks again y'all!
What a phenomenal channel. I love these videos. Would you ever consider doing a video about how some fishing spots where this is have become threatened or are endangered? I would love to see your regular fishing content but then also showing some "issues" that bring to light conservation efforts, etc. Keep it up - best fishing channel on TH-cam by far!!!
Yessir. There's a lot of directions I want to take this channel in but they're all centered around conservation and protecting this absolutely unique in the world ecosystems we get to share in Louisiana. Thanks for asking, we can't keep catching all these fish if we let this resource disappear.
@@catchyalater Sounds like you need to come to my side of the pond and do some Exit Strategy TV stuff. I know the fishing spots here :) Come on over to Sierra Leone!
TH-cam might break with a video like that. Let's do it.
Great video brother!!
Thanks bro! I appreciate the kind words my man.
Great video!
Thanks brother! I appreciate you watching.
Did you happen to say what company makes that lure?
I may have missed dropping their name, but the company is called Lost Coast Baits. I have a link to their site and all other gear I use in the video description.
That’s the Pogie color. Another great video!
Thanks man! Your lures are doing fantastic.
You started with the Pogie and finished up with the Glass Minnow color. Ghost Shad are a little bigger and have eyes. The Ghost Minnow has no eyes.
What part of Louisiana you fishing
This is out of Hopedale in the Biloxi Marsh. I updated the description to include that info, so thanks for calling that out. Gonna try some new areas and things soon though.
Why do you bleed out the red fish?
Mainly it mostly gets rid of the bloodline and makes them taste way better. It also puts them out faster which I also think makes them taste better but also keeps them from thrashing around in the ice chest. I like to be very quiet out there, so this helps too.
