    Porn is a major problem for men their addictions are a problem men’s constant cheating and constant lying to their wives etc... these are major bad issues :( And these issues they lead to permanent divorce!!! That’s a major major major permanent problem!!! Why don’t we talk about celebrate recovery programs so that people can get free of their hurts habits and hang ups??@TFH OC

      This is a major issue in Christian women’s lives also…. People make it a mens issue but it’s not solely a male issue. Women are too ashamed to come forward and speak to it. I’ve been guilty of watching porn. A lot of women do. It’s a heart issue. Gods convicted me and I slip up from time to time. But knowing it hurts others has been enough for God to help me to not desire this anymore. This is a major womens issue too. Please don’t forget that

      First of all, porn is not a "men's issue". Many women watch porn as well. Second of all, there is no such thing based on good, solid research and diagnosis as "porn addiction". Third of all, jumping to conclusions with "lead to permanent divorce" is sheer emotionalism, fear, paranoia, intolerance and/or probably unnecessary shaming of couples and individuals who just do not engage with erotica like you. Simple as that. Of course, if anyone wants to work on adjusting their lives and seeks counsel and support in that, more power to her. Or him. But there is far too many sloppy assumptions by Christians ( of which I am one ) about "porn" as well as preferences and fetishes and the area of Sexuality in general. If you don't like erotica, fine, find another whose value system is the same, but stop assuming that you know all and your ways ought to be everyone's ways. That goes for music, movies, video games, and entertainment as well.

      I'm sorry about your trauma, it's really hard for women to experience a divorce. I know there are good men out there, but a man can get married but will not be ready for marriage or find peace until he is financially, physically, and spiritually secured. I'm praying for a wife that I like and love, and one that's been waiting for me as well. Pray for me, please!

      Understand what Matt is saying about Proverbs 22:6. Matt clearly says here that porn is not the problem. Would you like to take any wild guesses at what the problem might be? Matt is the expert and has a personal business where he has freed hundreds if not thousands. It sounds like you need to blame someone Jill, and guess what that implies about what and who is the problem?..........

    • @BrandonKelleySaxophone
      @BrandonKelleySaxophone ปีที่แล้ว

      and since you would like to promote the blaming game..... Look at the statistics for how men do that were raised by single women:) Compare that to how men do that were raised with a man in the house. Is truth, evidence, and statistics uncomfortable for someone who likes to blame men?

    I had to come here to let you all know that your idea of using Ads to reach people about porn is kinda counterproductive. A person could be well on their own and never think about it, yet you all have ads that continuously remind someone that it exists whenever they literally aren’t thinking about it. Not sure if you all have considered this, but it’s been kinda annoying lately and I had to block those ads. Because as I said before, I do just fine without it. I don’t even think about porn until your ad pops up and then triggers pornographic images in my mind. I also think it’s VERY scummy to capitalize from doing work for God. You’re not doing God’s work because it’s not coming from a genuine place of wanting to see hearts change. If you truly wanted to change people’s lives you’d advertise your channel and put the course up for free rather than advertise a course and then charge for the course. At least you could make money with ad revenue when more people come to learn the process. I just had to find somewhere where I could tell you all how scummy what you’re doing is. If you’re gonna sell counseling services, while not being licensed counselors, then do it for secular ideas. Not under the mirage or facade of doing God’s work and wanting to help people.

      Honestly, I'm currently finishing up Matt's program. It does cost money. But those who pay, show up. Very few people will value a course that's free and actually stay committed to it. I honestly found his ad when I had just chosen to give up and surrender to being addicted for the rest of my life. Through his program, I came to understand my why for going there, and I was able to address it. Now I don't even need it anymore, because my original reason is gone. This program also gave me the tools to handle each and every urge and meet my real needs instead of going to it. I'm not trying to sell it to you. I'm just saying it worked for me. And he works with people on finances. He makes sure that finances are not what keeps you from signing up.

      I will not give anything to God that doesn’t cost me. This is not gatekeeping salvation, but challenging you in your sanctification.

      @@abubbamundt100 whatever works for you is great because you’re no longer committed to the sin and i love that for you brother. So i have no qualms about that. I guess it was just a me thing. I rarely have my mind on pornography until I get ads or content about it and I try to stay off photo sharing hubs so I guess it kinda triggered me.
      With that being said, God bless you. I’m happy for you, hope you’re still going strong at it

      if you are worried about being "reminded of it" then you are not free. Jesus was not triggered by sinners who sinned. how do you not have issues with porn, yet images are triggered in your mind.....licensed counselors have no training in this and often have no idea what they are doing, matt shares a story where certified and practicing therapists ask him if he can help them because although they have their degrees, in reality they are just googling answers to help their clients. There is only so much time in the day....certification and degrees take time....Matt goes straight for solutions and freedom. and the fact you think its "scummy" that he actually produces results, how do you think he can pay the bills if he does not charge? what gives the right for the therapist who has to consult with Matt, the right to charge? Do you think therapists should not charge? In fact, why does anyone charge for any service? What gives the right for a lawyer to charge $400/hour. At the end of the day, it sounds like you do not value yourself. And because of that, you do not see value in others.
