I've been using this for about three years, with good results. You can also create a default working space XML file so it will configure your setup when you launch the application. I put some good camera recommendations in my previous comment, but it's disappeared.
Thanks for that mate! Yes it's all very new to me so any help if recommendations are much appreciated. Yes for some reason TH-cam auto deletes some comments I still don't understand why. Are you able to put the camera recommendations up again or put them in the Joe Lagowski Golf Facebook group! I would really appreciate it.
Yes it's definitely worth a go.. I feel like this is something that you could really refine and make extremely good if you had the right camera and really dialed it in. But for what you get with a webcam is pretty good!
@@JLagGOLF Over the last few years I got my camera and setup dialed in. I use two cameras one down the line and one front on. Let me know if you want any tips. I'm based in Melbourne!
My old JV system did the same thing back around 2008 or so,It worked of a Microphone trigger for filming your own swing and the same as this it was a 3 second clip….
Joe, this is really cool I kind of wish you could have gone into a little more detail about what cameras could work and type of connections are required to use OBS - have trying to find a way to do this with an iPhone without a lot of luck
Thanks mate so there is a guy that reached out and put some stuff on the FB group! There are also a few other cameras I've been looking at will report back on the FB group.
I keep my old galaxy s20 around specifically because I can capture up to 960fps with its camera. I’ve gotten some sweet videos from it but you need a ton of light for anything indoors at that speed.
Wow! That's incredible. Yes I can imagine.. 😂 that's the killer indoors for me that I always am battling. More light for the videos to look better vs less light so the projector looks better!! Lol
Another great video Joe, unfortunately this is not available for iOS . I use the mevo+ and iPad and iPhone for video but sometimes I wish I could hit a few shots and get video with out setting the mevo+ up. I know I can just use the phone only but to be able to just do single clips like this would be great.
Really appreciate your channel, just bought my mlm2 pro and the information you upload is very helpful
Thanks mate! Hope you're enjoying the MLM2PRO It's a great device.

What camera recommendations do you have? Want to get something like swing optic but not at the cost.
Fantastic info Joe, thanks for sharing it. 👍
Thanks mate! I really appreciate it 🙏 some good info about cameras in the Facebook group as well 👍
This looks like something I need to try, appreciate the info.

It's very simple when you think about it but still very clever! I just need a better camera 👍👍

Yes unfortunately it's a PC application. Have you looked at the swing view cameras? It sounds like it would be perfect for your situation.
@@JLagGOLF I am not familiar with swing view cameras, time to google.
So any web cam that has a speaker?
Not a speaker, but a microphone
Yes a microphone. Having said that I'm pretty sure you could use your PC mic as the trigger I'll have to check
