I enjoyed this so much I just couldn’t wait! I’ve finished the entire top! Your instructions are excellent. My only mistakes happened when I forgot to look closely at the directions! 😅. Now I’m planning to load it onto my longarm. I just have to decide what pattern to use. Then I’m starting on your Reindeer quilt! So glad I found you and your wonderfully cheerful fabrics and patterns! ❤
I've had a lot of viewers tell me they don't prefer to watch the sewing. The biggest reason for me though is that it would require two camera set-ups on separate floors since my filming studio and my sewing studio are on two different floors. We try to sneak it in sometimes but usually opt not to. =)
You certainly could fussy cut a star from fabric to use in place of the tiny Ohio Stars. Yes, they would intimidate me for sure! They are small. There are some fabrics out there with “gold” stars and that might work.
You certainly could...the QSTs are already oversized to allow for trimming down but you could make them even bigger if you were more comfortable doing so.

Hi Corey! No questions today just loving all this cuteness! Thank you!
You are so welcome! Thanks so much for leaving a comment!
This is an adorable block, Cory. Your Ohio stars on the candles is genius!!! Soooo cute. Thank you.
Ohio stars are such a cute addition to so many different blocks. =)
@@CorianderQuiltsI’m so addicted to your Ohio stars now!!! I want to sew them into everything and I don’t even live in Ohio! 😂
Sure do miss seeing you on Saturday
Thank you for watching today! It's been a very busy few weeks but I'll be back on Saturday with another video. =)
Ive been dreading those stars for this whole sewalong but I made a bunch of them for my Starry Midnight Clear so I'm going to do it!
You'll be a professional Ohio star block maker after Starry Midnight Clear!
Due to budget I’m not able to purchase the pattern but love to watch anyway. Can always learn a tip or two. See you next time.
I'm so glad you are watching anyway!
Cute block.
Thanks so much!
Very cute...and love your dress!
Thank you!
Why don't we ever see you sewing during your tutorials??? It'a fun to see as a watcher!

There are always so many different options to customize and make a block more approachable for each of our skill levels!
I was so glad to see you had a new video tutorial today. Made my day!!! Thanks Corey. 🩷
You're so welcome!
You've probably already answered this before but what is the name of the pattern behind you, the brown and pink one? Is it your pattern? Thank you!
It's called Proposal and it's from my book Oh, Happy Day. The book is linked in the description box below the video. =)
@@CorianderQuilts thank you!
Cori, could you make a little bit larger QST and just cut the middle out to use in the tiny Ohio star?
You certainly could...the QSTs are already oversized to allow for trimming down but you could make them even bigger if you were more comfortable doing so.
You might could cut out a small square snowflake instead of the star.
Absolutely!...fussy cutting would be a great option.
The flames should have been done in yellow or gold fabric.
If you are sewing along, that might be a change you’d like to make for your block. 😃
