As a low AR player, I was so reserved about co-op, but around the time when I hit AR 45 (I genuinely don’t know how I got to such a high AR without anything unlocked pretty much, honestly insane to me) I began to realize how little of the map and how little progress I had actually made, so one day I randomly decided to allow someone into my world. They single-handedly guided me to unlock pretty much all of Liyue and Dragonspine in one sitting, and then the Dragonspine quest a few days later. They were also the person who convinced me to ascend my world finally (I had been sitting at AR 45 for a good while because I thought I was under leveled). I will probably never forget how much they carried my account, and because of that i have developed a habit of joining lower AR players worlds to help them out. I’ve done the dragonspine quest in other peoples world- not even kidding- around 10 times now and I can’t wait to do it again. Co-Op in genshin can be such a hit or miss honestly like damn.

I chat many players hoping they would reply and help but in the end no one helped🥲 I grinded hard and finish all Hoyo’s content solo. As a late game player, Im now helping newbies if I have time cuz I know the pain when no one helps you :”)) although I didn’t regret that no one helped me, it was way more fun cuz Genshin feels challenging at that time :D

Lmao I remember when I was ar30 some players just joined and they didn't speak any English so we couldn't communicate each other but despite that I just followed around them in sumeru with my Xianling. They showed me a lot of chests and way points lol. They stick with me like two hours, I didn't understand what we were doing. I even didn't understand that they helped me to farm primos lmao. But I am so grateful to them for being patience with me. I wish I could find and thank them in game. 😭
I remember this one time where a random person joined me, he was my AR level and we just started wandering around. Exploring things that neither of us had seen. Then we started bullying Timmy and killing all his birds for fowl and holding him up with arrows to his face asking for fowl. Was the funniest experience I had in this game and I never met that person again.
I remember someone helping me with dragonspine and those 3 abyss mages lol, we're still friends to this day. I also decided to repay that kindness forward and helped someone else with that quest as well. It's almost like a badge of honor to wear once you've helped out

Im too scared to do the ascension quest so I’ve been stuck at AR25 for a while 😅 I stopped playing for a bit but recently I’ve gotten back into it and when I first played it I was very cautious to strangers so I never accepted any invites, but after I came back I decided to try it out and I found it pretty nice. I’m too scared to fight monsters alone but when there’s someone else I just get a boost of confidence and reassurance. 😁

I don’t mind this kind of helping. I had a few that helped me fight world bosses when I was low AR which I am grateful for. I’m the kind that loves exploring and puzzles, and I hope people enjoy exploring as much as i do. I have a friend who asked me for help exploring dragonspine. I was relatively high AR at the time (40+) and was done with the highest point in the mountains thing. I went to give clues and fight mobs, but two other randoms came in her world to help which traumatized me a little. They did all the solving and defeated everything that left nothing for my friend to do except reading stuff in a rush, getting lost in the mountains, and not really understanding what happened, which to me ruined the whole exploring experience. After that experience I never allow any co-op except for my friends. Now i wanna try coop with people again but the most i managed to allow right now is when liben is around haha. Im still scared. One day.. maybe

Dragonspine is straight up hell fr... I didn't get any help during my starting days and I didn't really know how to play Genshin... After experiencing too much hardwork and deaths I solo'ed my dragonspine... My sister just helped me do the 2 abyss mage shit coz I promised to buy her burger later... But that 3 shards quest I did complete solo... I really wanna dedicate that to my amber, noelle, diluc and jean And later when I was ar 40+ I helped atleast 12-15 players for that quest and I did the same for my sister too

The first thing i would ask when I encounter a low AR player with 5-star character who had a run for a long while ago would be asking, "When did you start playing this game?" If you're naive, you would end up exposing yourself when answering that question with the wrong answer (Joined AFTER aforementioned 5-star banner run) I cornered a childe main a long time ago, it was before childe's 2.2 rerun

I was always the helper, never the one who needed help. I don't know why, but since I started together with my sister, I was always higher AR and had better built characters, so I was always in a helper role. Nowadays she has badass characters and I only help people who request help. But I still love it. Also helped two people with Dragonspine. Always a fun adventure
actually you can explore sumeru at AR 25 (directly from liyue) and access aranara world quest, but you cant access Sumeru main quest before finishing Inazuma main quest.
when I joined genshin I was bored and thought that I should explore the entire map and then I finished my aranara quest before my sumeru archon quest..
Quite fascinating; I didn't even know that there is a sort of players who are high-ranking and are helping low-ranked players. The only person I let in to Co-Op with me was my girlfriend; I always thought from other games that people who join other players games will only flex on them or grief their efforts. This opens a completely new insight into the community.
Helping people is the most fun thing in the game. Studies show that if whales are given the ability to help F2P Players as opposed to winning competitive arena matches or crushing F2P players they spend A LOT MORE.

There are these ascension quests for you to unlock the next AR (and, in effect, higher world level too), right? You can choose not to do these quests (making you forever stuck at AR25, for example, until you clear it) but you still keep accumulating EXP.

Nah I understand why. I didn't go to a new area until I had fully completed my current area first. It was crazy to people at first, but now that I'm caught up, I technically just play like everyone else.

And now I’m ar58 myself and I’ve gotten to help a bunch of people with the ending of tatarasuna and dragonspine as well. Coop sometimes is shit but when it’s wholesome it’s great :)
ah dragonspine, without a properly built pyro character back then it was awful, reminds me of the annoying cryo vine that was so broken its not funny cause normal cyro vine is okay but that one was really broken, its probably the strongest boss in the game, i'm talking about the cyro vine you fought during the chalk prince event
I remember when i was at ar 45 and joined a lower ar, they were so nice and welcoming so i added them and joined thier world regularly and helped them out and one day I felt burnt out with genshin and left for a month or two and then when i joined they changed their name but still had me in thier friendlist and reached out to me and then after that the cycle continued, but the second time i returned they were stronger then me and now they carry me at ar 55 (me) and ar 60 (them)
I killed 3 of my team and barely kept the last one alive while climbing to the dragonspine statue of the seven. Call me Elsa cos the cold never bothered me anyway. My friend did join later to help with the several ruin guards at the cryo cube area cos we wanted to try co-op

I had Zhongli since his first banner so most of the early game content was really easy for me so I didn’t need any help from other players. Guoba missing the torches in Dragonspine almost killed me a lot of times though

I have a friend recently joined genshin, he was so excited to have me in his world to join fight and stuff. He played like a week or so before I could join and when I did join, I was soo surprised he's at ar16 and unlocked Sumeru, ngl all the way points bro. I was like, *Bro WTH did you do these past days*. Well my friend now loves spending time in Teyvat, he is currently at ar45 and going strong with his level 80 Noelle, Gorou and Ningguang (he's always flexing me his team to me). He's not a spender so I don't really know how he did it, probably yt guides.
This is literally me with my ar 58 freind, I appreciate them so much for being patient with me when it comes to me getting my accemsion stuff done and them helping me with finding ocului
My pro tip is to use gamewith. It is soooo helpful with finding the oculi and making the task just that little bit less tedious
This past few day I meet a lot of good people in Genshin Impact, yhey help me from the slightest things, i know i am making them pretty upset on how slow i am in completing quest, i couldn't follow them that quick in their instruction even the way they move around map and fly using their glider i always fall behind, glad to meet a lot of people here in GI, compare to my previous game I played that kept calling me stupid,what do they expect from a newbie, I am now AR32 but learning alot from these videos too. ❤️

My sister just helped me do the 2 abyss mage shit coz I promised to buy her burger later...
But that 3 shards quest I did complete solo...
I really wanna dedicate that to my amber, noelle, diluc and jean
And later when I was ar 40+
I helped atleast 12-15 players for that quest and I did the same for my sister too

I've done the dragonspine quest at least 5 times now, and it only got easier each time
The first thing i would ask when I encounter a low AR player with 5-star character who had a run for a long while ago would be asking, "When did you start playing this game?"
If you're naive, you would end up exposing yourself when answering that question with the wrong answer (Joined AFTER aforementioned 5-star banner run)

I’m crossing my fingers and hoping they abandon the sheer cold for Snezhnaya. Sheer cold is super annoying to deal with. Constantly running back to heat sources and hoping to survive 😓. I spent hours trying to do the dragonspine abyss mages, I started crying when I finally beat them 😅
I was always the helper, never the one who needed help. I don't know why, but since I started together with my sister, I was always higher AR and had better built characters, so I was always in a helper role. Nowadays she has badass characters and I only help people who request help. But I still love it.
Also helped two people with Dragonspine. Always a fun adventure
How long does it take for you to build eula?
actually you can explore sumeru at AR 25 (directly from liyue) and access aranara world quest, but you cant access Sumeru main quest before finishing Inazuma main quest.

Quite fascinating; I didn't even know that there is a sort of players who are high-ranking and are helping low-ranked players. The only person I let in to Co-Op with me was my girlfriend; I always thought from other games that people who join other players games will only flex on them or grief their efforts. This opens a completely new insight into the community.

Exp piles up at AR 25 when you don’t do the ascension quest. You’ll stay at level 25 unless you do it
There are these ascension quests for you to unlock the next AR (and, in effect, higher world level too), right? You can choose not to do these quests (making you forever stuck at AR25, for example, until you clear it) but you still keep accumulating EXP.

Nah I understand why. I didn't go to a new area until I had fully completed my current area first. It was crazy to people at first, but now that I'm caught up, I technically just play like everyone else.

And now I’m ar58 myself and I’ve gotten to help a bunch of people with the ending of tatarasuna and dragonspine as well. Coop sometimes is shit but when it’s wholesome it’s great :)
ah dragonspine, without a properly built pyro character back then it was awful, reminds me of the annoying cryo vine that was so broken its not funny cause normal cyro vine is okay but that one was really broken, its probably the strongest boss in the game, i'm talking about the cyro vine you fought during the chalk prince event

I remember when i was at ar 45 and joined a lower ar, they were so nice and welcoming so i added them and joined thier world regularly and helped them out and one day I felt burnt out with genshin and left for a month or two and then when i joined they changed their name but still had me in thier friendlist and reached out to me and then after that the cycle continued, but the second time i returned they were stronger then me and now they carry me at ar 55 (me) and ar 60 (them)
People were always shocked when at AR 16 I unlocked all of Liyue and Mondstadt and Dragonspine and the waypoints… it rlly wasn’t that difficult

I killed 3 of my team and barely kept the last one alive while climbing to the dragonspine statue of the seven. Call me Elsa cos the cold never bothered me anyway.
