They dont know 4 star cons is as rare as 5 star cons. Especially starter characters. I think theyre the person to lose the 50/50 and go "Im rich! Another 5 star sweet"
Sucrose and Fischl are really good too Rosaria, Diona, good in certain comps Yaoyao and DMC in Dendro comps are a good Dendro. Kuki is really good with Dendro. Thoma works in Burgeon (or sometimes as shielder) And don't forget to mention the niche buffers, like Yunjin, Faruzan, Gorou, Sara
I was only able to 36 star the current abyss after benching several of my 5stars and replacing them with xingqiu and xiangling. Xingqius (and Barbaras) water ring is the strongest apllicator in the whole game. Does anyone know if Nilous ring is as fast as Barbara/Xingqius ring?
Built my amber to lv 90, gave her some good artifacts and now currently levelling her talents, the biggest dmg she did was 39k with charged atk. Love her ❤️
@@himarix1775 If you want to do charged shot Amber, 4p Wanderers is what you want to aim for once you start getting them as boss drops. 4p Crimson Witch isn't bad either. Physical Amber wants a 2p Pale Flame 2p Bloodstain. Weapons, Prototype Crescent is pretty good as are many 5 stars iff you have them. Amos, Skyward, and Aqua are good if you have them, otherwise stick to Crescent.
@@himarix1775 honestly, if your like me and find it hard to farm different sets but want to use both, you could just use 4 pc wanders troupe for physical amber (aimed shot) although it does less dmg.
I'm with you! Kaeya is far too fun to play. I've been saying it for a while, the damage loss I get from refusing to switch to a 5 star is nothing compared to the emotional damage I'd suffer if I kicked him off my team.
I felt somewhat similarly when I started Genshin. "I want all the 5 stars! Especially the Archons!" But there were too many well designed 4 stars to resist. I couldn't cope without my Kuki or my Bennett.

I've played a lot of MMORPGs in which a single jump in rarity made a world of difference - so much so that a new mythical unit could outperform a built legendary unit. In those games, it simply wasn't worth it to put any real investment into purple characters, and blue were nothing more than fodder. But the thing is, Genshin isn't like that. The difference between 4 and 5 stars is there - many 5 stars have damage ceilings 4 stars can't even dream of. But even though most 5 stars are objectively better, you won't suddenly enter God mode just because you have higher rarity characters. You actually have to build them well, surrounded by a team that supports them to their fullest potential. If you don't do that, you won't go near that high damage ceiling, even though you're playing a 5 star character. It isn't all about rarity. It's investment, knowledge and skill. My Kaeya isn't that well-built yet, but I've seen him not only outlive, but out-damage 5 star characters the same level or higher as him. Not because I had a super good weapon, or great artifacts, or because I'm a good player. It was because those 5 stars were even less built than my Kaeya and/or the player was even worse at dodging than me, or ignored the boss's mechanics (being marked by Childe and always letting it hit, for example) and the higher rarity did not make up for that difference. If someone only wants to use 5 stars, more power to them. That's also a valid way to play, and possibly a very fun one. But to "bleh" at 4 star characters and free characters because they aren't "rare units" and "ew free", "free=bad", that's a very arrogant and naive thing to do, imho. (Not to mention how ridiculously rare C6 free starters are...)
This interaction was something for sure- As someone who got Ayaka at AR 35, I’m kinda confused on how they got that lucky- my first 5 star was a Skyward Atlas when rerolling accounts. And even then I never thought that I was going to only use and collect 5 stars, both 4 and 5 stars are great! My current team is still three 4 stars and a 5 star. And I don’t mind useing them, they can do as much damage as a 5 star can. Amazing video! And sorry for all the unnecessary text- (And for any spelling/grammer errors! My grammer needs work-)

I treat Bennet, Xingqiu, Sucrose, and Xiangling as 5 star characters. Every top tier abyss team, except for Ayaka freeze, has two four star characters. Yes, most 4 stars need cons to compete with their 5 star counterparts(Ex: Barbara vs Kokomi), but the four 4* characters mentioned above can be a team of their own and clear abyss. They’re that good. I’ve only spent money on a lost 50/50 if it’s a character that will make a huge impact on my account such as Kazuha, Kokomi, Zhongli, Nahida, Raiden, and Yelan.
This is so true. I love collecting almost every single character. But when it comes to 5* I make sure to keep it on both presence and strength rather then OH ITS A 5 star!!
I have 5 stars such as Jean, Keqing and Dehya plus traveller. Out of those characters I mainly use Dehya and the traveller... still my current faves are Sucrose, Beidou, Candace, Barbara and Bennett or Xiangling which all are 4 star characters. ✨So at the end of the day it doesn't matter if you have all the 5 star characters or mainly have just 4 star ones. What really matters are your skills and how well you learned and know about your characters and their combat skills which then you can implement in different combats! (In my opinion lol)
actually 5* limited characters are the easiest to pull because you have 100% guarantee to get a limited 5* in 180 pulls but 4* characters are the hardest to get because you can always get 4* weapons from banners and never 4* characters so yeah
It sounds like they don't understand the game much yet. Like a 4-star Xiangling or Yan fei can make short work of the oceanid, but a Mona Yelan Kokomi or Ayato don't have a chance. Sometimes a 5-star needs their corresponding 4-stars. Getting the best result in combat is based on teams not the individual characters, and the best Option for every role is not necessarily a 5-star that you have yet.
Hope you do actually go back and revisit the newbie, I want to see how they've progressed and whether or not they're realized the value of say, Bennett, Xingqiu, or any 4 star character after they've been built.
I got Mistsplitter at 15 pity yesterday, I do have Ayaka but since I've benched her for a while now I gave it to Kaeya because I love him. And now I'll try to save starglitter to get his c3 in June^^
The fact that you started this video with Aloy makes me so happy. If you use the right weapon and buffs, even aloy can deal damage. 4*s are the ones during the damage since they are the support that buffs the dps

This video kind of shows that starting genshin now and then are really different. Back then, you can only roll for some 5* and starts off with a very small team until the next patch gives you new characters. Now, they start the game with all of these new limited 5* and i dont know, its hard to explain. Basically the learning curve is different and I am kind of glad I started playing from 1.0.

I've been a Razor main from the start even when I knew there was probably some 5 star that could do it better like Cyno, but I just want my small little wolfboy to beat the game with me
Xianling, Xinqiu, Bennet and Chogyun carried me until at least AR45 and through to the end of Inazuma quest line, don't think i would have been able to play without them hard carrying
As a ar 35, I use two 4* on my team and two 5* on my team, I'm literally a newbie and I don't know how to get them better, BUT Beidou is literally my main for like 12 ars (love her)
As someone who got their first 2 5 stars at AR 25 or so, i had no idea how wishing system works. I got a double at 40 pity, Jean and Raiden. I used Jean a bit, but i couldn't ascend Raiden so i thought she's trash. Dumped them both 💀 I just realized how good Raiden is at AR 43. I'm now a proud AR 56 Raiden main ❤ But still, i cringe hard when looking at what happend in the past 🤡
Look idc how people play the game but saying 4 star characters are weak actually pisses me off. Like dude I get you want rare characters but you aren't going to get any damage from your 5 star characters without 4 star supports like Bennett or any buffers like Gorou Sara or Faruzan depending on your team. 5 stars are good sure but they need supports if you wanna do good damage and from what it sounds this person wants the 5 stars because they are stronger then 4 stars considering they think they are the one helping him because they have 5 stars while he has 4 stars. But like good luck having multiple dps on the same team Granted they do have Ayaka so a team with her shenhe Kazuha and Kokomi would work for them if they did only wanna use 5 stars but like lmao This is just my opinion tho People can do what they want it's not my place to judge
The challenge of the game isn't how rich you are to get all the 5stars and play easy. The challenge is using time, intelligence and resources to turn your 4 stars into literal gods. 4 stars have the most unique playstyles to match their very unique roles in the story. No 5 star is much fun as pryo infused heizou, xingqui rosaria make a mean freeze team , Archons tend to take a back seat in the issues that tyvet have to face, making 4 stars also collectible because their stories carry as much sentiment as the archons, if not more.. If you can beat the abyss using 4stars then you've done better than most because thats not easy to do..
People in the comments acting high and mighty for using 4 star mains are kinda... They're a newbie to genshin from probably other gacha games so the mentality of 5* outclassing every 4* is probably ingrained in them.
My teams are mostly 5 stars, but I always have Bennet as a healer in pretty much every situation. He buffs dmg He Heals He's awesome I felt pain at that "Blech!" because Bennet turns my Ayaka's NA dmg from 4-5K to 11-12K and also boosts skill damage to 25K from 11K This is the kind of game where as long as you build them right, any character can be useful somewhere. Not only that, but 5 stars are way harder to get rarity-wise than in a lot of other gacha games....
That person's like me in some way, now I regret my choices since I can only get 33 stars in spiral abyss. I'm slowly building the characters even if I don't like using some of them since I need them as supports. I'm also collecting characters however unlike that person I'm collecting every single character to exist in the game including 4 stars. Currently I have 21 5 star characters and all 4 star characters. AR 60 btw

TECHNICALLY you can play until endgame without any 4 stars. That is assuming if you have *All* the 5 stars in the game and have all the regions unlocked. At most, afaik it's possible to unlock sumeru region without the archon quest but inazuma might be the hardest one to unlock without doing the archon quest. So any inazuma related character 5 star rarity may be hard to lvl up. Honestly though if you want to challenge yourself to only use 5 star units and try to speedrun the story quests n shit. It may be better if you use units that are in the mondstadt and liyue region since they are both accessible even without finishing the archon quest afaik. Though they do have to spend time and day to get their AR rank at a high enough lvl to acess liyue. But even then it's quite a challenging to only use 5 stars, since xinqui and bennet who are 4 stars are really broken supports that can be slotted in any team comp and make it easier.
Used to meet this kind of people in 2021 I think (I don't help people in Coop anymore). Only use 5 stars, and they are surprised that I can 36* abyss with 4* only (and no 5* weapon 😅) 'Is Bennett good'?, he's a god I would say
I’ve been using yanfei since abt AR 45 I got her c6 almost immediately and she does around 30-40k with a melt comp team she’s still not fully built but I love using her even if she’s a 4 star

You can still get 5 stars at low AR. I got a Diluc on my first ten pull when I was AR 10

As someone who got their first 2 5 stars at AR 25 or so, i had no idea how wishing system works. I got a double at 40 pity, Jean and Raiden. I used Jean a bit, but i couldn't ascend Raiden so i thought she's trash. Dumped them both 💀
I just realized how good Raiden is at AR 43. I'm now a proud AR 56 Raiden main ❤

Like dude I get you want rare characters but you aren't going to get any damage from your 5 star characters without 4 star supports like Bennett or any buffers like Gorou Sara or Faruzan depending on your team.
5 stars are good sure but they need supports if you wanna do good damage and from what it sounds this person wants the 5 stars because they are stronger then 4 stars considering they think they are the one helping him because they have 5 stars while he has 4 stars.

The challenge of the game isn't how rich you are to get all the 5stars and play easy. The challenge is using time, intelligence and resources to turn your 4 stars into literal gods. 4 stars have the most unique playstyles to match their very unique roles in the story. No 5 star is much fun as pryo infused heizou, xingqui rosaria make a mean freeze team , Archons tend to take a back seat in the issues that tyvet have to face, making 4 stars also collectible because their stories carry as much sentiment as the archons, if not more.. If you can beat the abyss using 4stars then you've done better than most because thats not easy to do..
People in the comments acting high and mighty for using 4 star mains are kinda...
They're a newbie to genshin from probably other gacha games so the mentality of 5* outclassing every 4* is probably ingrained in them.

My teams are mostly 5 stars, but I always have Bennet as a healer in pretty much every situation.
He buffs dmg
He Heals
He's awesome
I felt pain at that "Blech!" because Bennet turns my Ayaka's NA dmg from 4-5K to 11-12K and also boosts skill damage to 25K from 11K
This is the kind of game where as long as you build them right, any character can be useful somewhere.
Not only that, but 5 stars are way harder to get rarity-wise than in a lot of other gacha games....

I'm slowly building the characters even if I don't like using some of them since I need them as supports. I'm also collecting characters however unlike that person I'm collecting every single character to exist in the game including 4 stars. Currently I have 21 5 star characters and all 4 star characters. AR 60 btw

TECHNICALLY you can play until endgame without any 4 stars.
That is assuming if you have *All* the 5 stars in the game and have all the regions unlocked.
At most, afaik it's possible to unlock sumeru region without the archon quest but inazuma might be the hardest one to unlock
without doing the archon quest.
So any inazuma related character 5 star rarity may be hard to lvl up.
Honestly though if you want to challenge yourself to only use 5 star units and try to speedrun the story quests n shit.
It may be better if you use units that are in the mondstadt and liyue region since they are both accessible even without finishing the archon quest afaik. Though they do have to spend time and day to get their AR rank at a high enough lvl to acess liyue.
But even then it's quite a challenging to only use 5 stars, since xinqui and bennet who are 4 stars are really broken supports that can be slotted in any team comp and make it easier.
I swear Genshin either wants me to have Qiqi or Jean over Mona.
