Of India didn't recognize this talent but you recorded this much before internet spread in India👏👏👏
i am just spellbound !! this is for me one of the greatest 8 minutes of pure music. thanks blueelephant1000 for posting this .. you haven't mentioned his name but he is one of the greatest singers i ever listened to. i't's unbelievably raw yet pure, refined yet soulful, and sublime and divine. one of the greatest posts in youtube.

Such sad state of once respected artists of Rajput royal courts is unbearable. My heart goes out to these artists and their families..Govt. of India should do something for them....Respect for Dapu Khan ji.
When i was a kid , I guess i was 4 or 5 years their used to man who usually visit my home and used to sing the same kind of song with the same instruments.It was so nice that even after 20 years i remember his song, his songs talks abt sharavan.I dont see that man anymore.
I came back to watch this video quite often--it's very beautiful and there's something so otherworldly about this man. Can anyone tell me what is he singing about?
Who wrote the lyrics? Who composed the music and who created this musical instrument? Everything about it is purely natural. The God created the nature and as such, everything natural is God's creation.

Is that sort of like a sarangi? it is played in the same way and in India instruments often vary in looks quite a lot, I would be greatly obliged if you were able to give any information on this instrument at all.

His name is dapu khan and he is no more. Such a soulful singer. 13.03.2021 departed from this mortal world.
