For people that dont really get why Sticker Star is bad: The game encourages not to battle, since you lose more resources battling than winning coins after the battle is over, so, its easier just jumping, evading enemies and solving puzzles with a guide, because not ever Kersti gives you a hint, and to beat a boss, you must have the special "thing" to progress, that btw, the game does not give you hints what thing is needed. When a game does not give you a reason why that "gymmick" is worth to be used on a game, then its pretty badly designed (oh, and yes, you win more coins if you defeat the enemies on the first turn, but even with that, they dont give enough coins to be worth doing)
I think one thing that could just make the game better is incentivize fights. That's one thing Color Splash did right. You earn paint, hammer scraps which increase paint capacity if you get enough, coins, and on rare instances enemy cards. The only reason I see to battle enemies in this game are for the achievements or gaining stickers that only certain enemies drop like the bone or barrel stickers. It's not even the battles that are bad. It's quite fun finding the various stickers and experimenting with them and using the hard hitting arena annihilator stickers for the bosses. The problem is the battles don't give you much incentive to fight them.

Here's the thing. Mario Party Advance has its flaws, but it's a pretty good game. A terrible Mario party game, but a pretty good game. It's also a pretty good GBA game. It feels like if the graphics were changed, and it was expanded upon, it could pass as one of nintendo's mobile games. It's no worse than NSMBU. Honestly speaking, I really love Mario Party 9. The Car mechanic was not my favorite, but it was fun! And the boards and minigames were long and fun too! But I prefer Mario Party 8. Fun fact: In Mario Party 9, each character has 4 hurt sounds. 3 for when the get punched or hit by something, like a spike. And 1 for when they get knocked over. For example, Daisy is usually "Ow" or "Ugh" when she gets hit(you can hear this in minigames like chain event), and says "OWA/OW-UGH" When she gets knocked over(you can hear this in minigames like Pier Pressure). Give it a try!
Paper Mario is one of the unfortunate victims of the post-Iwata executive board making a committee (or something like that) to keep Mario titles within a certain set of parameters. Said board allegedly freaked out after Super Paper Mario. Thus, all other Mario spinoffs and even the main line games as well, (unless Miyamoto got it in, as he is only one of many board members) had to fall within a certain approved formula. Now, that being said, that changes nothing as to why Sticker Star is the worst. Another commenter pointed out nicely how thee game encourages you to NOT battle, but what really took the cake for me was the final boss battle, especially how the entire design of the battle system is nearly incompatible with that one MAJOR fight. Who thought it was a genius idea to never give you a static attack (At least I never found one) and then make you waste everything on crappy stickers so you can beat a sub-boss (who only seems to exist to waste as many resources as possible) then in the next phases leave you with no opportunity to refresh resources (that I can remember). It was sticker star's gimmick that led me to not even touch Color Splash when I heard that the sticker system was still there in some form. (Still don't know how it plays). Good thing Origami King actually fixed quite a few of these issues, and apart from the Committee of Mario Sameness (as I like calling them) getting in the way of the creative direction, is the best entry in the series since TTYD IMO.
Annoying fact: All of the “facts” in Mario’s Time Machine and Mario Is Missing! are straight up incorrect. So, in a way, they’re not educational games.

Paper Mario Sticker Star was my first paper Mario game too ! I enjoyed it (back when I was way younger) and if I hadn't played it, I wouldn't have tried the others. Of course now, I find it soulless and very bad but still...
I grew up with super paper Mario and when I played sticker star for the first time I hated it so much I sold it the same day I got it and bought thousand year door and a Gamecube memory card because people were saying how good it was. Needless to say that was a smart thing to do
Despite what people say about it, I actually really liked Mario Party 10. Me, my brother, and his friend used to play this game together all the time. I wish we could still play it but I no longer have a Wii U. I never really had a problem with the way the game worked. My brother claims that it’s his favorite Mario Party game.
Again, I said fun can still be had. They just didn't listen to what the fans wanted and it isn't anywhere near as good as the Hudson Mario Party games.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star is a personal guilty pleasure of mine, minus the stadium level in World 2. I’ve played this game to DEATH and I still have no idea how to solve those puzzles
I also kind of enjoy Sticker star, but it has 2 main issues. Previous comments explain it in more detail, but it’s basically that the game encourages you NOT to battle, and that the bosses REQUIRE the correct “thing” stickers to beat (outside of the first one), and they fail to inform you of this or give any kind of hint beforehand. It’s actually not a bad game if you decide to do battles anyway and look up a guide for the bosses (trust me, save yourself the agony), but objectively speaking it’s pretty poorly designed. But if they just made the bosses balanced around normal stickers and added a leveling system to encourage battles, I think it would be a decent game
Mario’s time machine snes is one of my favorite games. You learn about real history in a funny way. And the surfing part was one of the first 3d sections in a console game and that was mind blowing at the time and the music is so cool

Paper Mario Sticker Star is the first Paper Mario I played. When I was little I honestly enjoyed it as a nice platformer that had its moments. And it has amazing music. Except there are lots of problems. I had trouble because of the lack of hints and had to keep looking up answers, the backtracking to make things into stickers was annoying, paperize was a pain since it happened whenever you pressed the button and not just when there was something to actually paperize (which discouraged its use to look for secrets). Kersti was a terrible partner you hate from the start who blames you for everything and doesn’t go through any character development if I’m remembering right (unless you count the very end when she sacrifices herself but it’s kinda too late then), and I didn’t really care for her during the final battle. Despite parts I remember fondly, like the mansion and the jungle, I found out how much I completely forgot by watching a video. The best memory I have is Snifit or Whiffit, and I still find it fun and something worth returning to. It’s pretty much one of the most creative moments of the entire game. After meeting the Goombas who talked, Wiggler and the host Snifit, I kept thinking that it was strange no one else talked or seemed to have much awareness besides Toads. Now I see the game’s so bland, uninteresting… the world feels fake even, as does the “story”. It’s the sort of game that should’ve had an interesting story and characters, like another one I was playing, Mario & Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story, which had more characters than just Toads frequently talking and actually being interesting, and an incredible story. Sticker Star feels really lazy and soulless, especially after I got Paper Mario Color Splash later on and absolutely fell in love with it! After playing Color Splash I never looked at Sticker Star the same way. I realized how much lost potential Sticker Star really was, how lifeless and fake its world feels, how bad some aspects were, and my lack of interest in replaying and having to look up things again, or getting annoyed from turn based fights I don’t want. After the first time playing it becomes even more dull. Color Splash on the other hand is seriously a MASTERPIECE. It fixed everything Sticker Star did wrong! Theres so many unique places to see (my favorite probably being Vortex Island), things automatically become cards, cutout only works when something to use it on is near, proper hints exist, Huey’s a very likable partner, the story had me hooked at the start and only gets more interesting further in, even the turn based battles are fun! Usually I dislike turn based and want to be done with them soon as possible. But Color Splash made battles more entertaining than expected! I love that many enemies talk during them, sometimes saying silly things, freaking me out with the unexpected occasionally, even giving hints if you pay attention. The bosses were so interesting too! And it’s pretty impressive that despite progressing for a few hours almost every day, it took three months to finish my first play through! It was like a super interesting book I can’t stop reading. I kept wanting more!! There were characters I really cared about too. I cared about Huey, the fate of the different species on the island, the sad reality about the enemies that slowly grows more clear as you progress. I cared about that world being under a surprisingly terrifying threat that could end the paper dimension as anyone knew it. And I got crazy surprises here and there, there’s this one Shy Guy I still feel so bad for… yet there were also many funny moments making me laugh, or freaked me out because something so unexpected literally came out of no where (thanks a lot, host Snifit). Sticker Star never accomplished any of this when I was little, never will. It was just a game I played with a few unique things that stood out. A nice platformer for its better moments, but a lot being forgettable with issues that made me never replay it. Some of its aspects don’t belong in what can feel like a ordinary platformer with no deeper story or meaning to it. It’s like your example about turn based fighting in NSMBW. It doesn’t work well. I’m okay with a game having no interesting story (even though I MUCH rather one) if it’s a fun memorable experience in its own way and made with love, which is what my first ever Mario game, NSMBW, still is today! And unlike Sticker Star, it’s really fun years later! I even completed another play through not long ago, though with a twist: corruptions to break the game in silly ways. Now I’m thinking of replaying Color Splash because it’s full of secrets, like hidden dialogue for doing things differently, and it’s just so good! I can tell a lot of love and passion was put into that game. Thanks for leaving it alone, I don’t understand anyone saying it’s just like the lazy result Sticker Star is. That’s like saying Mario Party DS and Advance are the exact same thing when they’re so different! I barely saw any resemblance between the two. Color Splash really is what Sticker Star should’ve been and I’m really grateful for the amazing adventure. I’m also interested in continuing the original Paper Mario. It’s already interesting and looks like something I’ll enjoy!

Long story short, a few months ago my uncle, my cousin and me ended the project that we had of building a emulator that had the games of a lot of different emulators, but with the aspect of an arcade machine, I built the outside with my cousin, and my uncle put all the games in and did all the programming, so I dont know where did he take it from.
That gave me an idea. What if the next Mario Kart game had all the stuff from 8 with a story mode that you could do on your own, like that Mario golf game where the cpus get better and better while the story progresses

@@Demeech _Mario Party 10_ is also another Mario Party video game that is underrated there. I've seen video game gameplay videos of it (and the _Mario Party 9_ video game), and at least the minigames seem fun to play there; plus, the graphics are just as good as the graphics in _Super Mario Party_ and _Mario Party Superstars_ because all 3 Mario Party video game titles are in HD resolution and have a very high polygon count in compared to previous Mario Party video games (as well as the ones on the Nintendo 3DS).
I've only played Mario Party DS, Advance, 10, 5, Advance, 8, and 6. And I'm social distancing so even if I got all the Mario Party games, I couldn't play them in multiplayer.

Mario Clash is a game for the Virtual Boy, an early 1990s portable game console with a 3D display. Unfortunately, the original controls were not optimal for the Virtual Boy's unique format, which made the game difficult and uncomfortable to play for many players. Here is a possible new control scheme that could improve the gameplay experience: Instead of using the D-Pad for movement, the game could use the Analog Stick, which would give the player more precise control over Mario's movements. To attack enemies, the player could use the trigger buttons. To jump, the player could use the A button or the trigger buttons, depending on their preference. To select power-ups and items, the player could use the touchscreen or the D-Pad. To pause the game or access the in-game menu, the player could use the B button or the Start button. These controls would provide a more intuitive and comfortable gameplay experience for the Virtual Boy, while still maintaining the core gameplay mechanics of the original game.  And that shows if a human even chose the controls for Mario Clash.

3D Land is still good IMO. Just wasn't groundbreaking or anything. And NSMB2 isn't bad either. But it was when the series started to old for the same concept with no originality & cause fans to stop with the NSMB series stuff.
Mario Party Advance was interesting but I got bored trying to finish it. I remember back in 2012 I was excited to play the next Paper Mario. I also played Gargolye’s Quest, Metroid 2, and Etrian Odyssey 2. My Christmas present was Metroid Prime trilogy (GameCube/Wii) version. I look back fondly on that. Paper Mario Sticker Star is a different story. I completed everything and I went back to it back in 2017 to finish the remaining flags achievements. It wasn’t worth it. I received nothing and I sold it with Colour Splash and got a copy of Breath of the Wild on Wii U.

Oh yeah I guess since you've never played the top 100 let me tell you the basics of the game. You basically play 100 minigames, you have to unlock like 20 minigames in the single player adventure mode (which is minigame island). There is only 1 single board in the game, and the only other modes is you playing a decathlon which you play the same 10 minigames and try to beat them as fast as you can, a just a mode where you play 5 random minigames, and that's it. The top 100 has so little content that it's a surprise that it has that $50 price tag. You get so little content for the thing you're buying, that it's easily the worst Mario Party in general.

@@Demeech Aww man. Nobody ever talks about Mario Maker 3ds. The thing is it's mario maker 1, but without mystery mushroom costumes, worse graphics, no searching for levels, and it's on the 3ds. But it does have the 100 mario challenge, which does make it an alright mario game, and then you can also play some more levels.
If MK Tour is an appetizer, then it’s one that costs $20 for a single French fry and $5 for every squirt of ketchup. Yeah I’d rather starve and wait for the main meal
Mario Kart Tour isn't pay to win. In online most of the time all characters are modified to give only two item slots. In single player, you don't have to pay. You will eventually get enough characters, karts, and gliders to get the best bonuses on most stages. It took me about 6 tours, and I only played on half of the days. Even if you don't, all that happens is you don't get the maximum amount of stars. The bonuses barely effect the game play.
@ACH Pay to win is when you buy something in the game and get a big advantage over others. In Mario Kart Tour buying stuff just gives you more karts and characters. But it costs way too much money.
Finally, someone who doesn’t completely hate Hotel Mario. I think it’s extremely overhated too, of course nowhere near the best, but it’s not the worst either
Demeech yeah, after recently playing it, it’s nowhere near as bad a people say it is, it’s not good, but it’s alright. It being on the CDI and the cutscenes are why people get the impression that this game is bad. When it really isn’t. Especially compared to games like Paper Mario Sticker Star, Mario’s Early Years, Mario is Missing and Mario’s Tennis
Demeech 1: 2D Mario is much more fast paced game. 2: Enemies are much more comun in 2D Mario 3: You don’t need EXP for a battle system to be enjoyable and feel rewarding, just look at origami king

Well, at least _Mario Tennis Ultra Smash_ doesn't have content locked behind a paywall like _Mario Tennis Aces_ has there (case in point: most Yoshi recolours in being locked behind the Nintendo Switch Online Service paywall in _Mario Tennis Aces,_ as you can't play as them unless you play online and thus can't be unlocked for offline play)...

Mario Party Advance is a very biased pick, honestly. It's not a bad game. It's very fun, actually. The only reason people don't like it is because it tried something new with the base formula. Same for Mario Party 9-10, they're very fun games but they don't have the regular Mario Party gameplay. A lot of the "bad mario games" are just games in the series that try something new, and Mario fans hate change so obviously that becomes automatically bad. NOTE: I am not defending Sticker Star.
That's something I've been noticing with the gaming community in general. For example, I *unironically* LOVE Bubsy 3D. No joke, it's a weird but *amazing* 3D platformer. But the thing is, Bubsy 3D ain't Super Mario 64. They both have WILDLY different mechanics, and Bubsy 3D had the bad luck of having to get delayed and being released after SM64 came out. By the time Bubsy 3D released, Super Mario 64 already impressed the critics, and with Bubsy 3D being so radically different, well... you know how it went for the orange bobcat... EDIT: If there's any chance you think I'm trolling, I genuinely do like Bubsy 3D. I've beaten it ~49 times, and loved it since my very first playthrough. I originally played it the first time for the lulz, but ended up genuinely liking the game.

@@Demeech the ds one is mor charming you know the music the art style etc also there are challenges in the game which are basically a remixed version of a game and also there a campaign the minigames are less than the 51 version but there quality is better than 51 and also the best thing is you can play every minigame with friend without needing another copie

Fun fact: In Mario Party 9, each character has 4 hurt sounds. 3 for when the get punched or hit by something, like a spike. And 1 for when they get knocked over. For example, Daisy is usually "Ow" or "Ugh" when she gets hit(you can hear this in minigames like chain event), and says "OWA/OW-UGH" When she gets knocked over(you can hear this in minigames like Pier Pressure). Give it a try!
Mario Party 9 is a certified hood classic
Paper Mario is one of the unfortunate victims of the post-Iwata executive board making a committee (or something like that) to keep Mario titles within a certain set of parameters. Said board allegedly freaked out after Super Paper Mario. Thus, all other Mario spinoffs and even the main line games as well, (unless Miyamoto got it in, as he is only one of many board members) had to fall within a certain approved formula.
Now, that being said, that changes nothing as to why Sticker Star is the worst. Another commenter pointed out nicely how thee game encourages you to NOT battle, but what really took the cake for me was the final boss battle, especially how the entire design of the battle system is nearly incompatible with that one MAJOR fight. Who thought it was a genius idea to never give you a static attack (At least I never found one) and then make you waste everything on crappy stickers so you can beat a sub-boss (who only seems to exist to waste as many resources as possible) then in the next phases leave you with no opportunity to refresh resources (that I can remember).
It was sticker star's gimmick that led me to not even touch Color Splash when I heard that the sticker system was still there in some form. (Still don't know how it plays).
Good thing Origami King actually fixed quite a few of these issues, and apart from the Committee of Mario Sameness (as I like calling them) getting in the way of the creative direction, is the best entry in the series since TTYD IMO.
Annoying fact: All of the “facts” in Mario’s Time Machine and Mario Is Missing! are straight up incorrect. So, in a way, they’re not educational games.

Paper Mario Sticker Star was my first paper Mario game too ! I enjoyed it (back when I was way younger) and if I hadn't played it, I wouldn't have tried the others. Of course now, I find it soulless and very bad but still...
I grew up with super paper Mario and when I played sticker star for the first time I hated it so much I sold it the same day I got it and bought thousand year door and a Gamecube memory card because people were saying how good it was. Needless to say that was a smart thing to do

Despite what people say about it, I actually really liked Mario Party 10. Me, my brother, and his friend used to play this game together all the time. I wish we could still play it but I no longer have a Wii U. I never really had a problem with the way the game worked. My brother claims that it’s his favorite Mario Party game.
Again, I said fun can still be had. They just didn't listen to what the fans wanted and it isn't anywhere near as good as the Hudson Mario Party games.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star is a personal guilty pleasure of mine, minus the stadium level in World 2. I’ve played this game to DEATH and I still have no idea how to solve those puzzles
I also kind of enjoy Sticker star, but it has 2 main issues. Previous comments explain it in more detail, but it’s basically that the game encourages you NOT to battle, and that the bosses REQUIRE the correct “thing” stickers to beat (outside of the first one), and they fail to inform you of this or give any kind of hint beforehand. It’s actually not a bad game if you decide to do battles anyway and look up a guide for the bosses (trust me, save yourself the agony), but objectively speaking it’s pretty poorly designed.
But if they just made the bosses balanced around normal stickers and added a leveling system to encourage battles, I think it would be a decent game
Mario’s time machine snes is one of my favorite games. You learn about real history in a funny way. And the surfing part was one of the first 3d sections in a console game and that was mind blowing at the time and the music is so cool

Paper Mario Sticker Star is the first Paper Mario I played. When I was little I honestly enjoyed it as a nice platformer that had its moments. And it has amazing music. Except there are lots of problems. I had trouble because of the lack of hints and had to keep looking up answers, the backtracking to make things into stickers was annoying, paperize was a pain since it happened whenever you pressed the button and not just when there was something to actually paperize (which discouraged its use to look for secrets). Kersti was a terrible partner you hate from the start who blames you for everything and doesn’t go through any character development if I’m remembering right (unless you count the very end when she sacrifices herself but it’s kinda too late then), and I didn’t really care for her during the final battle. Despite parts I remember fondly, like the mansion and the jungle, I found out how much I completely forgot by watching a video. The best memory I have is Snifit or Whiffit, and I still find it fun and something worth returning to. It’s pretty much one of the most creative moments of the entire game.
After meeting the Goombas who talked, Wiggler and the host Snifit, I kept thinking that it was strange no one else talked or seemed to have much awareness besides Toads. Now I see the game’s so bland, uninteresting… the world feels fake even, as does the “story”. It’s the sort of game that should’ve had an interesting story and characters, like another one I was playing, Mario & Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story, which had more characters than just Toads frequently talking and actually being interesting, and an incredible story. Sticker Star feels really lazy and soulless, especially after I got Paper Mario Color Splash later on and absolutely fell in love with it! After playing Color Splash I never looked at Sticker Star the same way. I realized how much lost potential Sticker Star really was, how lifeless and fake its world feels, how bad some aspects were, and my lack of interest in replaying and having to look up things again, or getting annoyed from turn based fights I don’t want. After the first time playing it becomes even more dull.
Color Splash on the other hand is seriously a MASTERPIECE. It fixed everything Sticker Star did wrong! Theres so many unique places to see (my favorite probably being Vortex Island), things automatically become cards, cutout only works when something to use it on is near, proper hints exist, Huey’s a very likable partner, the story had me hooked at the start and only gets more interesting further in, even the turn based battles are fun! Usually I dislike turn based and want to be done with them soon as possible. But Color Splash made battles more entertaining than expected! I love that many enemies talk during them, sometimes saying silly things, freaking me out with the unexpected occasionally, even giving hints if you pay attention. The bosses were so interesting too! And it’s pretty impressive that despite progressing for a few hours almost every day, it took three months to finish my first play through! It was like a super interesting book I can’t stop reading. I kept wanting more!! There were characters I really cared about too. I cared about Huey, the fate of the different species on the island, the sad reality about the enemies that slowly grows more clear as you progress. I cared about that world being under a surprisingly terrifying threat that could end the paper dimension as anyone knew it. And I got crazy surprises here and there, there’s this one Shy Guy I still feel so bad for… yet there were also many funny moments making me laugh, or freaked me out because something so unexpected literally came out of no where (thanks a lot, host Snifit).
Sticker Star never accomplished any of this when I was little, never will. It was just a game I played with a few unique things that stood out. A nice platformer for its better moments, but a lot being forgettable with issues that made me never replay it. Some of its aspects don’t belong in what can feel like a ordinary platformer with no deeper story or meaning to it. It’s like your example about turn based fighting in NSMBW. It doesn’t work well. I’m okay with a game having no interesting story (even though I MUCH rather one) if it’s a fun memorable experience in its own way and made with love, which is what my first ever Mario game, NSMBW, still is today! And unlike Sticker Star, it’s really fun years later! I even completed another play through not long ago, though with a twist: corruptions to break the game in silly ways.
Now I’m thinking of replaying Color Splash because it’s full of secrets, like hidden dialogue for doing things differently, and it’s just so good! I can tell a lot of love and passion was put into that game. Thanks for leaving it alone, I don’t understand anyone saying it’s just like the lazy result Sticker Star is. That’s like saying Mario Party DS and Advance are the exact same thing when they’re so different! I barely saw any resemblance between the two. Color Splash really is what Sticker Star should’ve been and I’m really grateful for the amazing adventure. I’m also interested in continuing the original Paper Mario. It’s already interesting and looks like something I’ll enjoy!

Long story short, a few months ago my uncle, my cousin and me ended the project that we had of building a emulator that had the games of a lot of different emulators, but with the aspect of an arcade machine, I built the outside with my cousin, and my uncle put all the games in and did all the programming, so I dont know where did he take it from.

I've seen video game gameplay videos of it (and the _Mario Party 9_ video game), and at least the minigames seem fun to play there; plus, the graphics are just as good as the graphics in _Super Mario Party_ and _Mario Party Superstars_ because all 3 Mario Party video game titles are in HD resolution and have a very high polygon count in compared to previous Mario Party video games (as well as the ones on the Nintendo 3DS).

Mario Clash is a game for the Virtual Boy, an early 1990s portable game console with a 3D display. Unfortunately, the original controls were not optimal for the Virtual Boy's unique format, which made the game difficult and uncomfortable to play for many players. Here is a possible new control scheme that could improve the gameplay experience:
Instead of using the D-Pad for movement, the game could use the Analog Stick, which would give the player more precise control over Mario's movements.
To attack enemies, the player could use the trigger buttons.
To jump, the player could use the A button or the trigger buttons, depending on their preference.
To select power-ups and items, the player could use the touchscreen or the D-Pad.
To pause the game or access the in-game menu, the player could use the B button or the Start button.
These controls would provide a more intuitive and comfortable gameplay experience for the Virtual Boy, while still maintaining the core gameplay mechanics of the original game.

And that shows if a human even chose the controls for Mario Clash.

3D Land is still good IMO. Just wasn't groundbreaking or anything. And NSMB2 isn't bad either. But it was when the series started to old for the same concept with no originality & cause fans to stop with the NSMB series stuff.
Mario Party Advance was interesting but I got bored trying to finish it. I remember back in 2012 I was excited to play the next Paper Mario. I also played Gargolye’s Quest, Metroid 2, and Etrian Odyssey 2. My Christmas present was Metroid Prime trilogy (GameCube/Wii) version. I look back fondly on that. Paper Mario Sticker Star is a different story. I completed everything and I went back to it back in 2017 to finish the remaining flags achievements. It wasn’t worth it. I received nothing and I sold it with Colour Splash and got a copy of Breath of the Wild on Wii U.

Oh yeah I guess since you've never played the top 100 let me tell you the basics of the game. You basically play 100 minigames, you have to unlock like 20 minigames in the single player adventure mode (which is minigame island). There is only 1 single board in the game, and the only other modes is you playing a decathlon which you play the same 10 minigames and try to beat them as fast as you can, a just a mode where you play 5 random minigames, and that's it. The top 100 has so little content that it's a surprise that it has that $50 price tag. You get so little content for the thing you're buying, that it's easily the worst Mario Party in general.

If MK Tour is an appetizer, then it’s one that costs $20 for a single French fry and $5 for every squirt of ketchup. Yeah I’d rather starve and wait for the main meal
Mario Kart Tour isn't pay to win. In online most of the time all characters are modified to give only two item slots. In single player, you don't have to pay. You will eventually get enough characters, karts, and gliders to get the best bonuses on most stages. It took me about 6 tours, and I only played on half of the days. Even if you don't, all that happens is you don't get the maximum amount of stars. The bonuses barely effect the game play.
@ACH Pay to win is when you buy something in the game and get a big advantage over others. In Mario Kart Tour buying stuff just gives you more karts and characters. But it costs way too much money.

I have seen so many videos rightfully trashing Ultra Smash. So, this one finally made me buy the game. xD New, for 10 bucks. Because I don't have much time to play, a game with hardly any content for hardly any money sounds okay. ...yes, my collector's instinct took over. Wii U stuff is already getting really expensive! I'd rather take it, while it's super cheap. Okay, now that I publicly stated my excuses, my head may accept it as well, lol.

Mario Party Advance is a very biased pick, honestly. It's not a bad game. It's very fun, actually. The only reason people don't like it is because it tried something new with the base formula. Same for Mario Party 9-10, they're very fun games but they don't have the regular Mario Party gameplay.
A lot of the "bad mario games" are just games in the series that try something new, and Mario fans hate change so obviously that becomes automatically bad.
NOTE: I am not defending Sticker Star.
That's something I've been noticing with the gaming community in general. For example, I *unironically* LOVE Bubsy 3D. No joke, it's a weird but *amazing* 3D platformer. But the thing is, Bubsy 3D ain't Super Mario 64. They both have WILDLY different mechanics, and Bubsy 3D had the bad luck of having to get delayed and being released after SM64 came out. By the time Bubsy 3D released, Super Mario 64 already impressed the critics, and with Bubsy 3D being so radically different, well... you know how it went for the orange bobcat...
EDIT: If there's any chance you think I'm trolling, I genuinely do like Bubsy 3D. I've beaten it ~49 times, and loved it since my very first playthrough. I originally played it the first time for the lulz, but ended up genuinely liking the game.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t really “surprised” when you said that you didn’t like Sticker Star. It’s the worst video game of all time. I’ve never met anybody that liked it.
There are a ton of people defending it oddly enough.

I don't think Sticker Star is the worst game of all time there are way more game in my opinion that is worst than Sticker Star even though I like Sticker Star
@@Demeech Im pretty those are kids who grew up with the 3ds which is me as well but Ive emulated pmttyd and just looking at gameplay I could tell it was miles above
I Don’t think sticker Star is horrible it’s not good but it’s not bad I personally HATE Paper Mario 64 just because the designs are weird and the gameplay is boing yea the same can be said for this game but I at least have more nostalgic fun over 64

I feel you bro... I've grown up with paper mario sticker star and I loved it. I still don't know what's bad in it. About the difficult puzzles then yeah I get it, but aside from that I actually love it and its one of my favourite games I have ever had
Mario Party Top 100 and Paper Jam are probably among the worst imo
Paper Jam is pure lost potential along with Mario Party The Top 100.

I love Super Paper Mario. But I feel like when Paper Mario sticker Star came out the Paper Mario franchise basically died. Not even origami King is original but at least it had a better story than sticker star.

Yeah, I liked Bowser Party. It was really engaging, and the minigames we're fun!
Again, I said fun can still be had. They just didn't listen to what the fans wanted and it isn't anywhere near as good as the Hudson Mario Party games.

I actually like Mario party advance I understand it’s not a traditional Mario party but I enjoy the unique Of the game collecting things in solving peoples issues and investigations
i still don't get why people hate mario party 10(and yes i played and i enjoyed)why people are mad about 9 and 10?they have 8 games before and they were coming one after another and the mingames is still fun if all i pretty sure if they were only 8 games and after that the series died no one would have a problem because oh my god!1999-2006 8 mario party?come on and people was still excited for another one?
People gave Mario Party 9 a chance and didn't like the car mechanic. So when it came back in 10 people were upset. It didn't do anything to address the criticism of 9.

@@arthurpietrogarcia1057 I'm not as passionate about Mario Party as I am with something like Kirby so I did enjoy 10 more than most others did. But I prefer the original style.

have you played clubhouse games ds because its awesome its a billion time better than 51 worldwide classics and its one of the best party games on the system you have to try it

@@Demeech the ds one is mor charming you know the music the art style etc also there are challenges in the game which are basically a remixed version of a game and also there a campaign the minigames are less than the 51 version but there quality is better than 51 and also the best thing is you can play every minigame with friend without needing another copie
I think the worst mario games are the educational ones. Out of all of them, my least favorite is mario's early years.
