Never put anything you donate in a garbage bag. If you think someone else will love and use it, then it’s not garbage. Put it in a box ( any box you set aside for recycling) and donate it properly. How would you feel if someone gave you an item they thought you would use in a trash bag?
Hi! Thanks so much for watching! I do not think what I donate is trash. On the contrary, I make sure it is laundered, ironed, folded, and placed in the bag respectfully. I actually know how it feels to get used clothing. I grew up extremely poor and that is why I give so generously now. Here, when I take the clothes in to the donation site or consignment shop, they take each item of clothing out right away and go through them. Then they give me back the bag. I merely use the bag as an easy method of transferring the clothing. I agree 100% with your sentiment. Thank you for taking the time to write me!
