I enjoy watching these rehearsals/practises! All the participants look and sound so professional, and perform as if the intended audience was actually there. Many thanks for sharing👍

Thanks very much Mike, the band were testing some pieces but the trombones on ‘Steadfast and true’ were amazing!

The marches played were,
1) 0:20-Steadfast and True (In Treue Fest)
2) 4:06-Nairac GC
3) 5:07-Back to Camp (Abmarsch in die Quartiere)
I don't know how long I went without hearing the Nairac G.C. March

I 'spose I could tell the Truth & Say I was looking for something else & Tripped into Facebook (Which is a Place I do my best to stay out of) & it started playing the Advertising Clip for this. I Glanced down & saw the date on my task Bar 11/04/2024 ..... & I thought Oh Great! this video is showing this open day thingy as 10th April, that's a Month away, I'll tell Mr ADV so he can put it in his Diary for Next Month & I'll make a note to let Mr B know, he'll be back by then.

Yes, it's Senior Drum Major Gareth Chambers, Irish Guards.
He is always super distinctive.
Senior Drum Major Gareth Chambers MVO is a Warrant Officer C02 & Staff Sergeant Of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards. Originally from South Armagh in Northern Ireland, he has served in The Irish Guards since 2007. He was Appointed Senior Drum Major of the Household Regiment in July 2021. Since his Appointment He has been involved in many Major Parades & Ceremonies in Addition to Normal Ceremonial Duties, including Trooping The Colour, The Musical Spectaculars, The Order of The Garter Ceremony, The State Opening of Parliament, The State Funeral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll & The Coronation of Charles lll.
In May 2023 King Charles lll Authorised The Honours List on the Demise of Queen Elizabeth ll, which was Gazetted on 25th May 2023;
" His Majesty The King has been graciously pleased to make the appointment to the Royal Victorian Order of Warrant Officer Class Two Gareth William CHAMBERS, Irish Guards."
