- Malaysia is the first country in South East Asia to debut the new 2023 Tesla Model 3 Highland. We managed to sample the top-of-the-range Model 3 Highland Long Range Dual Motor AWD variant on Malaysian roads.
With revised styling, improved NVH and a new suspension set-up, the Model 3 Highland is poised to be the most competitive EV at the sub-RM250k price point.

Thanks to this video I just discovered that Italy is the only country where Tesla doesn’t charge extra money for a different colour, except for the grey and red. Very interesting.

Do you have roundabouts in Malaysia? How do you use the turn signal in such a situation?
Don’t doubt indicator button can be muscle memory in a straight line but how do you indicate whilst on a roundabout or with wheel at 180deg?
There is a centre armrest. The whole middle seat comes down for that.

Considering Malaysian weather and road being constantly underwater, I honestly have concern with the water getting into the battery compartment. Apparently water ingress due to heavy rain isn't covered in the 8 year battery warranty.

How's the after sales support? E.g if got collision happen, how much to spend on body repair? Not much info on repair & maintenance...

Yeah, the screen-only instruments is a no-go at all. Why would they even encourage you to try to navigate a screen when you're driving? I get that its a save-cost measure to reduce the amount of parts needed, but this is just really low.

Having your wiper control to be in a touchscreen is dangerous
